I thought (still think) Hana can be a play-maker. So far reality does not agree with me.

When it comes to a player, pick, trade, etc. what is your biggest wiff?

I'll start. There was a time in 1990-91 where I thought Steve Walsh was going to be better than Troy. Oops. That was a bad one.

I thought Henson could be a good QB. But that had a lot to do with me just rooting for ANYONE other than Quincy Carter to beat him out.

James Whalen.

We all remember the drought between Troy Aikman and Tony Romo.

I think we tend to forget the drought between Jay Novacek and Jason Witten.

I remember seeing James Whalen tearing it up at TE for Kentucky and was hoping we would draft him.

We did not draft him but we did sign him a few years later and I thought he would help in our passing game....too bad he had no impact what so ever other than a little on ST one year.

Recent, THE KRAKEN!

All-Time, Alexander (Fastest man in the NFL) Wright (4.14 - 40 yard dash)

Dis-Honorable Mention, TE David Lafluer

Didn't Wright score the fastest TD in the history of the league? Taking an on-side kick from Philly on the first play in the game for a TD?

Wasn't there another TE named David LeFleur who played more like Peppi LePew and stunk up the joint? And Bobby freaking Carpenter along with Billy Cannon, Jr....... ooohhhhh, I'm getting a migraine again.

Thinking the Cowboys had an easy ride to the Super Bowl in 2007.
Thinking that Hardy and Gregory would lead to a dominant pass rush in 2015.

Wow - how soon we all forget all the Romo bashing in here early in his career.

So many fans were wrong about him but now, thankfully, we're down to a handful who simply refuse to admit his talent or just don't like him personally. Last year was the nail in the coffin for anyone who doubted he was the problem in the those "defenseless" 8-8 years.

I suppose we better all get ready soon for the next debate to begin as to whether the next guy can play or not.

Shoot Romo was an undrafted FA from a small school, really no footage on him. I doubt at that time anybody thought he was gonna be special except maybe BP.

My biggest mistake...spending countless hours on here reading posts from all of you self-proclaimed "experts." What a freakin' waste of time! I could've learned 3 new languages and made millions of dollars in the stock market by now. I blame all of you!

Heck, the kids in my photo are getting married and graduating college now.

Thanks for nothing, guys and girls! :p

Now, does anybody know what the Boys are doing at #4?

I thought Felix Jones would be real good and he did start off looking real good his first 2 seasons but never got many carries. Once he started receiving more opportunities his 3rd season he had put on weight and wasn't as fast or quick.

I thought Campo would be a perfect fit for the team (really, for Jerry) at HC. Livin' on a prayer.

Also thought Danny Noonan was going to be our next stud defensive lineman. Randy White level. But I was in middle school and hadn't heard of steroids.

Not related to the Cowboys, I really thought Vince Young and Joey Harrington were going to be great QBs.

David LeFleur started to turn the corner and was doing well his last year before the injuries did him in. So it was a wasted pick but I think if he would have stayed healthy he would have turned out to be a good player.
