I feel Dallas might even make a move up for him to jump the Eagles. I think we just need 2 stay at 26 and take Smitz or best on our board.

I doubt he's there at 20, much less 26. But, if he is then that'd be a steal. And our offense could be prolific.

Pass on Carter. He disappointed at combine and couldn't finish he's proday after showing up out of shape and overweight. Couple that with his no contest plea he has soured some teams
Then I hope he falls to 26. He'd be a steal.

what if the eagles, wash, or giants had drafted emmitt smith ????? would have changed things.
For the love of all that is holy........................... Smith played three decades ago. The game is different. Game favors passing. Defenders are bigger, stronger, faster. RBs don't have the shelf life and longevity of success TBs from 3, 4, 5 decades ago.

Stop using Emmitt Smith as justification for taking Robinson. You guys did the same thing with Elliott and while he was a great TB, it didn't really help the team win anything of note.

Dijon won't be there at 26. End of story.

The smart move would be to draft Gibbs and let Tony Pollard go after this year.

A 1st rnd pick SHOULD be an impact player, regardless of position. Robinson is that. As a 1st rnd pick you would assume you get 5 yrs of that impact. I'm in favor of that at 26 if he's there. Longevity at any position is suspect in today's NFL. Thinking the player/position sets you up for the 10 yrs is a nice thought, but never a guarantee
Longevity isn't the same across all positions. Studies have shown that TBs have the shortest span of any position on the football field.

RBs are interchangeable as proven by the numerous teams who have made SB runs with non-first round pick TBs.

I agree. I would love to get Robinson but highly doubt it, I think he will go well before the 26th pick. I do know that this draft has several quality RB. Robinson teammate Roschon Johnson has also impressed me both as a RB and a blocker.

Honestly, I’m not impressed. In the first few minutes of the clip, what did he do That was so impressive that other backs can’t do? He doesn’t have breakaway speed.

TE is a possibility at 26. The Cowboys wanted to keep Schultz, but he decided to go to the Texans. For those who think the Cowboys are going to simply handover the starting job to either Ferguson or Hendershot you’re going be wrong. The team likes their potential just like a lot of us but they’re a work in progress.

I can’t argue that five years of an elite RB with an option for a 6th on Franchise tag isn’t worth a second half of the first round type of pick.

He’s got incredible instincts and while he’s not a burner, he’s got enough speed to get some big runs.

Eagles need an RB pretty bad, if they take him at 10 or drop down a few and still get him, we’re going to be hating it.

Bijan is likely to be can’t miss and whil you absolutely can get great play out of a 3-4th round back, it’s still a roll of the dice:
If he’s there when we pick, I take him without a second thought and we have an elite backfield player his year

Give me an OL, DT and TE and I’m thrilled with the draft

I would be just as happy with a RB taken in the 2nd or 3rd, but if we get Bijan at our spot, im happy, if for no other reason than I don’t want him in the division and the Eagles would take him at 30 no doubt.

Crazy enough there will be a B Robinson in next years draft if we need him...this year i'm gonna go out on a limb and say the rookie RB wont surpass TP in RB play and we paid TP 10 mill for next year. I think the DT OL and others are more of a need for this team.

I’m perhaps one of the few that thinks TP drops off significantly as the RB1.

I love the guy and want him to be great but I just don’t trust RBs that rely on his skillset to be successful as an every down back.

Praying I’m wrong, for all our sakes!

Who were some other "can't miss" prospects? I have a few.
Ricky Williams
Carson Wentz
Ryan Leaf
Jamarcus Russell
Blair Thomas
Hell, or those, only Ricky is someone I felt was can’t miss.

Ricky wasn't bad in all fairness Iron Mike did him no favors, put a horrible NO team on his shoulders and drove him to weed..lol

Hey i was one who thought you dont pay him its just too much when you add in Zeke's dead money, you build the line and there are plenty of RB's in this draft that would do fine...alas we paid TP so we need to let him do his thing.

if we take an RB in round one it's because Mike isn't sold on dak. He is hoping to find a diamond in the rough to carry the quarterback like in 2016. shrugs.
