I dunno. Who was responsible for what when Bill was here? Most people here credit Tuna for upgrading the talent base. Likewise, Jerry's accumulated a lot of names, but he's yet to build a functioning team.

We all seen article from the paper that Jerry took Ware when Parcells wanted Spears. and he took Barber at the spot Bill wanted Canty etc.

Alot of people credit anyone but Jerry.

The team functioned to 13-3 last year and coaching and stupid decisions from a couple players got them knocked out

Other than singing pacman Jones not much bad was done this season.


As I said I agree the coach should be fired, but you dont fire the GM who the NFL agrees got the best players he could get because the coach couldnt function

How was 2008 a point in his favor? The Williams trade looks like a disaster at this point, the team cratered in December as usual, and his impotent, hand-picked coach couldn't unify the locker room.

The Roy Williams trade looks bad to people who thought he would be Jerry Rice right away. Myself I will let him at least get a training camp before I start crucifying

It's a discussion board. People discuss the topics presented.... It'd be extremely naive to think that something like this would be devoted to those that agree with you POV alone.

Yes, maybe it was naive.

But like I said, this thread wasn't started to debate. It was started to see if anyone would be open to the idea of contributing for this (not that they had to decide right now).

Clearly no one is interested on this board really, as presented to them in this format. So I think we have our answer.

If the idea gets any further and we get more organized, maybe we'll be back. Oh well.
