Staff meeting


Bill Parcells apparently delivered the news that he wouldn't be returning to the Cowboys during a short staff meeting this morning. It's a shame he couldn't have delivered that news last week, when teams inquired about the availability of several assistant coaches still on staff. Now, those coaches have to wonder if the new head coach will retain them because there aren't many jobs available at this point in the off-season.

What mess? A new coach is going to clean house on the staff probably anyway, the roster is better than it was 4 years ago, the salary cap is in fine shape, and it looks like we have a QB and some solid young players on D.

He's leaving the team in a lot better shape than Landry left it.

This here is a pretty damn good position for a new coach to come into. A playoff team with a good talent base of young players and tons of cap space.
