You forgot, 3 years of 11-12 win seasons.
Three straight playoffs. Multiple offensive and defensive records along the way. Are we there yet? Nope. Could it be better? Yep!
But there’s not many out there that would’ve done better with the cards he was dealt.

Look everyone on here is satisfied with fat boy winning a lot of games and nothing more which means we get low round draft picks every year. I would rather lose 15 games the next few years so maybe we can draft some talent like QB, linebacker, 1 tech, running back. Winning just enough to be one and done is the recipe for football purgatory. 2023 was a draft bust. The only good players we have drafted in last few years Parsons and Diggs. Nothing else.
Now that has to be highly intelligent...throwing away a very productive roster. Now that start over really isn't the ticket in view.

1) Unable to motivate the team
2) Unable to discipline the team
3) Unable to manage the clock in critical situations (see SF playoff game and others)
4) Unable to challenge in critical (turnovers, poor spotting) situations
5) Dumber than a door nail. Has anyone ever heard this guy speak? OMG.

Fire McCarthy after the loss to Tampa in the first round. Bank on it.
I wish they would hire Jeff Fisher..

Get off your own butt...go look at records that usually end up in the position of a Championship game. 12 to 13 has a very high percentage or success historically in the NFL. You out to change all of that in YOUR own new world?

While there is some truth about these shortcomings of MM, it's the culture that holds the Cowboys back. Every coach that has been hired since Jimmy left has been expected to put band aids on Jerry's roster and somehow live up to his delusional expectations of the Cowboys being SB contenders year in and year out. What's needed is a massive overhaul and a down period of a couple of seasons where a new coach and new GM can change the culture. If you've noticed, every coach that Jones has hired were tempted by the existing talent and the need to uphold the legacy of America's Team.

The organization needs a fresh start and a coach/GM that has the license to remake the team the way Jimmy did.

The bottomline is MM doing more or less with what he has?

And is he responsible or not for what we have?

Yes...he's either the top of the team and responsible, or it's time to move on. I'm betting on his team making it to the finish line. But that will always be a matter of watching what happens in each and every game.

Most blatant problems on the team is the offensive tackles and then still in the Red Zone against tough teams. Inconsistency and lost focus when the team should show up to make the very first game changing play should be started.

Calling everybody names says a lot about you.
Usually being foolish or non-objective when an actual point for discussion is offered. Attitudes and not in topic makes for abuse and little more, unless following a specific point to discuss. Name calling jargon is not an excuse to do so. In itself...it is easy to see differences for a whipping boy approach instead.

I’ll add some -

He is a Super Bowl winner, and the best HC we’ve had since Parcells.

He’s the 18th winningest coach in NFL history.

13th most playoff wins in NFL history with 11 - the same amount of playoff Ws as Pete Carrol and John Harbaugh, more playoff wins than Sean Payton and Mike Tomlin.

You fully support that quality by refusing to discuss beyond one's own name callings. You still don't see value in a high producing team with NFL leaders and the 3rd straight what should be 12 win seasons. Now prove the Cowboys don't win this game against Detroit. Talk about football for real...

He seems to want the Cowboys to tank for a couple years so they can get some high draft picks. He forgot that the Patriots always drafted at the end of the first round, yet still managed to draft well and get good players and have good teams for a very long time.
Patriots success was Brady once he left they sucked

You must be really angry as you continue to fire off these tirades today. I think many would agree with a couple of your opinions in particular 3 and 2. But lets take a step back on point number 1. I don't think an unmotivated team would make the playoffs 3 straight years. Maybe 1 year, but 3 not a chance.

Quite frankly McCarthy has been the most successful Cowboys coach in more than 2 decades based on that fact alone and before passing judgement on this season lets see what happens in the playoffs first. We should all hope you get to eat some crow. :)

Thank you for articulating my anger and angst. McCarthy would be EXCELLENT as a coordinator. He is not the guy you want to craft the frame of a team...he's just not that person. Our team is dominated by Dak's mentality...Jerry will tell you. Overall, this is a plus, but when Dak crumbles, the team folds too...you still need the head coach to set the tone.

Instead of dismissing "road issues" as media narrative and helping his team, he completely bought into "We are worldbeaters and that's our TRUE identity...it's the just the road thing that needs to be figured out." That's your great freaking analysis...that "the road" is the issue? You know...maybe it is, but why would you introduce something that could completely undermine the alleged fragile ego of the team?!? It's a dumb move either way and that's typically why coaches don't buy into media narratives. But reactive doofus completely bought in and now the team has a road complex. Dumb and dumber.

I agree and it is insultive and disrespective of other's views. The views are easily and can reasonably be discused...without being insultive unless first interjected.

The only reason he won one SB: Rodgers. Period. And why not mulitple? Because he is a moron. Look at Bellichick and Brady. Fat boy squandered his legacy. And Rodgers has said McCarthy is one of the dumbest people he has ever met.
I think MM is not the brightest, but to be honest Aaron Rodgers thinks everyone but himself is stupid or not on this level.
