Bledsoe or Quincy?

am so sick and tired of the Mickey Spagnolas of the world who continue to make excuses for Deadslow and not fill up the tank of the same bus they used to drive Q-Car under.

I was just thinking that after reading Spags' last article.

Bledsoe is a VETERAN QB, yet Spags makes excuses.

Q was a (somewhat) DEVELOPING QB, that didn't have NEARLY the weapons around him that Bledsoe has, yet Spags treated him like the anti-christ.

Are you talking about Palmer playing worse than Bledsoe? If so, Ill just say you are wrong and leave it at that.

What's up with the rack?

I think QC's fate was sealed that day in AZ when he argued with JJ on the sidelines...because after that, it was all downhill for him as a QB and as a percieved person...

Sigh. Why do people always bring up Quincy? Because he was a bottom half of the league QB also? Because he pretty much drove himself out of the league? In a league that is starved for QB's Quincy can't get a 3rd string job.

Can't we just let the Quincy Era rest, gladly, in peace?

They might. He has just as many turnovers as Bledsoe and is getting sacked 1.5 times as much as Bledsoe. You never know with some people.

Yet his QB rating is over 20 points higher, he has a positive td/int ratio and he has completed 15 percent more of his passes. Yea, Bledsoe is really playing better than Palmer right now.

You're probably right. So in a sense, it was JJ's ego that screwed QC over (and then QC being a moron and giving them a reason to cut him).

Honestly though, I think QC was ruined that first game he ever played (against a top D in Tampa). QC (like almost all QBs) should of got the Romo treatment. He would of been a better player for it, and may have learned the pressures of playing QB for the cowboys from the sidelines, instead of being thrown right into it.

oh great...somebody else that cant get over the fact that Q-Bongs was a drugged out, limited talent QB who was one of the most erratic players in the league

he sux so bad he cant get a job even as a 3rd QB on ANY NFL team...get over it already

Spagnola treated Carter like the anti-Christ because he knew more than he was allowed to share about Carter's personal peccadillos. He knew that no matter what he said, Carter's actions would eventually vidicate it.

Carson Palmer - 6 TDs 8 Turnovers 15 sacks

Drew Bledsoe - 6 TDs 8 Turnovers 10 sacks

Things like completion percentage and QB ratings are just irrelevant then, right?

:hammer:

Not to mention that QC was a real jerk. And to several reporters, not just Mickey.

When Carter failed the drug test (evidently more than once) he cut himself from this team. He goes to the Jets and ends up letting them down as well. If a team can't depend on you especially at QB a position that holds leadership role no team is going to take a chance on you. Thus far I'm not hearing any team showing any interest.

No.

I've heard coaches say plenty of times that they'd like to see their QBs rating up, so they can win more games. Just the other day, Jim Mora was like "Hey, if we can get Vick's QB rating and completion pct. up, we might run the table."

And the team was totally like "OMGZ.....THAT's the key to victory? QB rating and completion pct? ORLY?"

And Mora was totally like "YARLY"

It was epic.

Like I said, the stats speak for themselves. A 20 point higer QB rating, a 15 point higher percentage rating and a positive td/int ratio.

Your football IQ is awesome.

I mean, up til today, I thought that a turnover was a turnover. Come to find out, lost fumbles aren't nearly so bad as interceptions. OF course, that's probably only true if you're trying to start a flimsy, ridiculous argument.

I'm just stunned that the QB with the league's highest QB rating is 1-3. You would think, if they were following your brilliant guide to winning, they'd be undefeated.

Bizarre stuff.

The Bengals are 3-1.

Having a QB that can complete more than every other pass probably has something to do with it.
