Skip Bayless just said that Drew Bledsoe will be Parcells choice as QB down in Miami next year, in his opinion. Skip's such a genius! Bledsoe!

:lmao2: :lmao2:

Anyway I just thought I'd share that laughable concept from a laughable fellow like Skip.:D

When it looked like Parcells would get the Falcons VP job, he suggested that Parcells would hire Maurice Carthon as head coach.

:laugh2: That's another good one.

Bledsoe apparently turned down many offers as a backup this year. And a lot of struggling teams supposedly contacted him. He turned them all down. I seriously doubt if he wants to have anything to do with football anymore and I'm sure he doesn't want to be near Parcells.

Why, don't the pigeons in Miami have enough statues to perch on?

Actually, I wouldn't be suprised if it is Chad Pennington.

That is the name I keep hearing.

The Dolphins would go 0-16 with Bledsoe.

Pennington just does not have enough arm left. He has everything else you want in a QB, but that noodle arm is just not good enough.

I don't doubt that BP will look to bring in a vet QB for Miami because frankly the Miami QB situation is a joke right now. I doubt it would be Bledsoe but I do think he will look for a guy who can hold down the fort until Beck shows he is ready or another QB is drafted.

I dont know Cleo Lemmon has looked ok and he might be the bus driver Parcells likes until Beck is ready.

Good guess -- they did draft John Beck high in the 2nd round as well but I'm sure Bill will want to sit him for another year or two.

I agree. This is what everybody is looking at and I don't disargree. Having said that, I do like Beck a great deal. It remains to be seen if he can develop but I do think he has potential. I don't know how long a guy like Brunell or even Johnson are under contract but those guys would seem like the type of QBs BP would lean towards as well. JMO

Why didn't Miami trade us for Quinn? After drafting Ginn and hearing the outcry, they could have made up for their mistake.

We wouldn't be talking about a trade for that top draft pick right now!
