He's been solid, but unspectacular. He's got potential, and apparently a pretty high floor, but it's his ceiling that will determine if we are set or not.

It's the OL and Zeke that are leading this offense's success, however.

I just respectfully disagree with you. I don;t remember the last time I have seen a rookie look this good in his first 6 games. Being throwing to the wolves right off the bat and the kid acts like he has been in the league a decade. No doubt about it in my mind, he gives us the best chance to win at QB. I also give him the lionshare of the reason this team has looked so great.

When is the last time you saw a rookie QB with an offensive line and running game like this? To go along with a HOF TE, a probowl WR (for half of the games), solid supporting WRs, and a defense that doesn't give up many points?

It's the OL and Zeke.

Well, I posted a thread with a bunch of tweets by him a few weeks ago where he broke down Dak's performance against somebody and he followed the tweets up with a full article.

He's pretty well-respected in the NFL community, tho I'm still unsure as to who he is. Either way, whenever I see someone do a whole twitter timeline discussing the Cowboys, I try to share.

Sorry, you don't appreciate it.
He has some pretty good write ups with all-22 vid analysis.

This kid has killed it without Dez. So let's leave him out. Jason is a HOF but at the end of his career. He is making Beasley, Butler, and Williams look great out there. He does have a great oline and RB and that helps. I'm just really impressed with him. Not sure why you are trying to act like it is everyone else suddenly being the reason for our success?

Why are you taking things away from all of these other players? The OL is the best in the league. They were the best before Dak. Beasely just gets open. He is not being thrown open, he is just open. This isn't rocket science.

It doesn't fit his narrative of "Romo is best" so we'll play lights out even more. Romo was great...still might be, but we're winning and that trumps all until it fails or not

PPPPPPPPLLLLLLEEEEEAAAAASSSSSEEEEEEEE....it's those plus DAK plus D

To think otherwise.....

Dak started it all off playing solid.. then the running game came along and then the defense came along. Dak level of play has made everyone else on the team raise their game as well.

Agree. It doesn't matter which side you are on in the debate.. we are WINNING. So don't mess with it. Dak has played lights out and is a great leader so far. No need to change anything.

If it's so easy then why did all our backups suck last year even with a top rusher?

Because they did t have Dak. Dak and Zeke has gotten everyone wanting to pitch their best out there. There are some guys like a Lebron in the NBA that just raises the level of play of players around them.

I don't know, his throws just seem kinda crappy. He's over and underthrowing guys, and that's something you didn't see him do. But he's always had bad mechanics and was able to make throws from all different angles just based on genetic gifts. I remember listening to a podcast where the scout said you should show Rodgers footage to young QBs to show them what they should NEVER do. But he did it and it worked. Maybe the gift has eroded and because he has bad mechanics and habits he's going to tank hard.

I don't know if you're a boxing fan but you just described Roy Jones Jr. When he fell off, it happened overnight. It was like he fell off a cliff. He went from great to garbage in a blink of an eye. You certainly don't want to speak too soon but this might be happening with Rodgers right now.

I keep hearing people say he wasn't good but to me this was Dak's most impressive game to date.
Prescott could have been a lot better. He only had the 3rd-highest passer rating for a visiting QB in Rodgers' 70 career games at Lambeau.

The OL is playing better than last year, Beasely is playing better than last year, Zeke is better than McFadden, the coaches have been MUCH better than last year, and yes, Dak is better than the slop they put at QB last year (sans Romo).

And he was quite good in the 2nd half. Not tough to imagine that a rookie QB might struggle in the first half in his first time in Lambeau.

YR
Against a Dom Capers defense, no less. He has confused plenty of QB's in his time... not to mention rookie QB's.

Didn't we have a similar situation last year, and its was QB play that was the issue? I know Zeke is a new element, but everything else was in place with a Vet for QB. I'm not saying Dak is perfect in anyway, but he adds an element to the game that Romo just can't add. I love Romo, but Dak has excited this team to play hard. When Romo is in, everyone expects him to do it all. I just don't think the team plays as hard.

You have it all backwards. Dak has played lights out and has lifted up everyone around him. Especially the defense. Everyone likes to win and when you have a Qb playing this good, it elevates the whole team. This team couldn't win last year without Romo, heck it could barely win with him. The coaches were outcoached every week. Now all the sudden they are MUCH better? Yeah, now that they have a stud QB.
