Don't be naive. This is all purposeful and orchestrated by Jerry. He allows the draft board to be photographed to justify his selections. The draft board showed that they had Frederick, Williams, Escobar, Randle, etc. rated higher than the point they were drafted. Just PR for him.

You know, if they were REALLY savvy, maybe they would have rearranged the board before it was photographed to make it look like they had an awesome draft.

Could be. I just don't like seeing the spectacle that is the Cowboys war room. I do like the drafts of the past 3 years. Things are looking up there and I attribute that more to Garrett than JJ.

If the Cowboys have been drafting better the last few years why would you care if the draft room was full of donkeys, midgets, strippers and clowns in there during the draft? (No offense is intended to donkeys, midgets, strippers or clowns).

It has been like that for years I enjoy the War room camera AB. I think it gives a lot of fun to the sport and what the team does. I think this is all being blown up over nothing. Like I said IIRC last year people took snap shots they saw on TV and blew them up and it had zero impact on the draft this year. Again it's a fabricated issue.

It's just not something a well run, professional organization would do. It's embarrassing the Cowboys organization. Sure, alot of fans like it.

I'm not mad at all. In the complete monotony of the off-season, we need interesting news like this. Though it got me thinking, is it just me, or do the Cowboys seem to have their board "leaked" more than any team in the league? Taking it one step further, is it truly "leaked", or is it completely intentional (sure gets people talking Cowboys, which is always Jerry's goal)?

ummmm.... Jerry and our coach have said repeatedly that this was the case immediately after the draft,why would this matter?

I think because the board was put together by the scouts and Jerry knows everyone is skeptical of what he says, without some proof.

He has been filmed in front of it for years.

The cowboys in house production crew blue star media has been filming in the war room for years.

in 08 I put a picture up from the blitz with it visible...then again in 10.

If I never bothered to do that no one else would have ever been on the lookout for it. Now every year people are looking everywhere for pictures from the war room.

I have the draft specials from most years staring in 06 and up. There are shots of it during those years also.

In 2012 they blurred the backgrounds of the draft board in the war room. I don't think they did this year for whatever reason.

I wish I had never started this nonsense. So as u see its not really the second time in three years, nobody is remembering 08 and the fact that they have basically stood in the war room and filmed and used it for the blitz draft special for going on close to ten years.

I was referring to the board being published for the second time in three years not the fact he’s been filmed around it.

You would think that he would have taken that on-board the first time it was published, but obviously not.

However if the information is freely available then I see no reason not to publish it.

If Jerry doesn’t care then why should you?
