News: Bo + Austin = the end for Rod Smith?

I wanted him in this spot for a long time. Just being a physical freak at this level won't cut it any more. Just like guys that amaze at the combine and still there's the small whisper, " does it translate to the field?". Welcome big world, everyone is as good as you now. we shall see.

I didn’t read the article so it might have mentioned this but I think they like him enough to where they would try him at fullback again before they just cut him.

Don't know if they would use a roster spot for a fullback, since we almost never use them... Sure seemed to work well back in the day with Moose though lol.

Not likely. Team could easily keep all of them and I wouldn't be surprised. If it came down to Rod vs Bo, it would come down to special teams.
No better be able to play ST or he wouldn’t even be active
The question really comes down to going long at what position and ST is a huge part of it
Do we carry 3QB?
Do we carry 4 TE?
It’s gonna be some tough decisions

I love having the depth Scarborough brings. I hope they both make the team and get some carries.
