And it's also funny some people knocking Charlton for not being fast enough wanted Barnett.

Who ran a 40 time only 4 hundredths of a second faster. LOL
Good point but Barnett also produced record sack totals at UT.

Seems like a Travis Frederick kind of pick. A lot of folks were underwhelmed. A lot of anonymous scouts saying there were better picks on the board. But he's a quality player and person from a power 5 conference. Finally gets pro level coaching in Harbaugh and he takes off. He's a dude who's ready for life as a professional athlete and can play multiple spots.

I saw more in McDowell and Watt, and Bowser was intriguing, but Taco is someone I knew was going to be very high on Dallas' board. He fit the Dallas profile for DEs much more than the smaller stumpy guys everyone is fascinated by.

We'll see. Welcome to Big D Taco!

This guy has some vicious hands. Excellent punch. Taco isnt content being blocked, he will fight to finish the play. Showed a spin move and was totally ineffective doing so. Unlike takk he can still win even if he doesn't win initially off the snap. Taco has serious power. He uses it to set up tackles and comes back with some impressive speed rushes. His 40 time wasn't great but moves very well on film for a 280 pound guy. Lacks great bend to get around the corner consistently. He will be stout versus the run and can be a 8-10 sack guy in time.

This dude is 3rd on the DE SPARQ chart and far above guys like TJ Watt. As already mentioned, if you like Irving, you'll like this guy. Maranelli likes this guy, we just need to put faith in medical science and Marine grit to keep the badass alive.

SPARQ is not medical science. It is an unvalidated metric.

I'm sure that 40 time will be very important once QBs start taking 40 yard drops under center.

Taco is slow off the line, slow to react, slow to the play, slow to get off blocks and shed them, slow to change directions and slow to use his arms constantly to make plays in general........never heard SLOW used so many times to describe a player...
