Sure thing. Tough task though. I've said all along he's an average qb. If the coaches learned anything the past few weeks, it's that an average qb can win with this offense if they play smart and conservatively. So they will likely limit Dak, which will make him look average no matter what, so proving otherwise is going to be tough.

One thing though...if he sucks and all of a sudden the line looks awful again and he's holding the ball forever waiting on guys to get open, and we lose...Will you admit you're wrong?
Absolutely

I agree. But it’s not like Philly is out there beating up on great teams either. They haven’t faced a defense like this and we haven’t faced an offense like theirs. It’s going to be a very interesting game

Best team we have faced no doubt. They are going to score points and they will be able to run the ball on us. Can Rush and the offense keep up?

Running Zeke 20 times for 3.5 ypc isnt going to cut it in this one.

It can't. Cincinnatti is a mess on offense. NYG have nobody named anything other than Daniel Jones or Saquon Barkley. Wentz is Carson Wentz. The Rams offense has been a mess all year.

The defense is REALLY good, but the defense has been playing horrible offenses. This week (Philly) is their first REAL test.
nope.
we were told after washington...the real test is the next 2 weeks vs the rams and eagles.
we pass the first test with flying colors holding everyones template of how to build in the modern era to 10pts...now people act like we beat the winless lions.
nope.
no changing narratives now.
the eagles will be a tough test.
division rival.
road game.
real hate.
and they are good in the area our defense struggles in...the run game.
but that was a good win sunday.
the first of our 2 tests accoording to everyone.
we're good.
real good.
hopefully we keep it goin'.

Brady recently said there was a lot of bad football being played. Honestly, with the exception Bills and Eagles, most offenses and a lot of QBs are struggling to find their groove. Honestly, I think defenses have caught up with these so-called explosive offenses. Here are Joe Burrow's comments from Sunday's loss

https://www.baltimoreravens.com/news/what-bengals-said-after-losing-ravens-week-5

(on making the decision to check it down versus go for an explosive play) "It just depends what the defense is giving us. If teams are going to play us like that, then that's what we have to do. There's just nothing down the field if teams are going to play us like they did today."
This is what the Broncos used to “figure out” Dak lol. This 2 high shell has become a super popular defensive scheme trend that really started to pick up last year. It was the same coverage that has Mahomes slumping for 6 games last year. Take away the big play and force a guy to march down the field methodically, which is much harder.

At work right now, but would love for someone to make a detailed thread about this. Will let people understand that the issues Dak faced weren’t unique to him. A lot of good QB’s have been shaky due to it.

This is true.

The mobile quarterback gives the Eagles the edge, but I'm not sure their vaunted offensive line will hold up against this crew, especially if Micah can go close to full speed.
If we can have Clark out there to spy Hurts and let Micah do his thing I have a good feeling

I would say that what the offense is doing to some extent is based on what the defense is doing. You don't need 300-yard games if the defense is scoring and allowing under 20 points. I agree that it isn't sustainable in that an offense will eventually get to our defense and we'll have to respond offensively. But I think looking at "this offense is working so don't change anything" out of context with what's happening on defense doesn't give an accurate picture. We are running the ball because we're not playing catchup. We are not forcing things, which could result in turnovers, because we know we don't need 40 points to win. When the day comes that we do, then the offense will play differently. As long as that's not necessary, what we are doing is fine and we should stick with it ... because we're winning.

I agree with you a bit but I also think this board will continue to move the post to help the agenda. The Cowboys defense has completely shut down all those mentioned teams. If we beat the Eagles there will no doubt be another excuse on why it happened.
always is.
most of the people crapping on our wins over cincinnati and the rams said we would lose those games.
we just beat joe burrow and matt stafford.
now folks act like we beat scrubs.
and that giants win looks better every week.
they just refuse to admit.
right now...we're good.
will it stay that way...i don't know.
but right now...we're a really good team.

Tired of this stupid talk. Who has Philly or the rest of the teams in the NFL played? It’s always the Cowboys haven’t played anyone yet. Our schedule has not been easy maybe we are way better than all these teams and the rest of the league.

Damn right man. I've fluffed up a lot of Cowboy teams that I can see there fault in and it's always been on the defensive side. This is the first time in 20 + years that we have a no doubt dominant front 7. If I brought up post history there would be hundreds of posts from previous years of me saying we need to go with the Giants SB philosophies. They always had a good run game with the best front 7. The year they beat the Patriots in the SB they had far and away the best front 7 in the league to go a long with a QB who limited mistakes and handed it off and made plays when asked. It's exactly what we have right now. Hope it continues.

We’re a really good defensive team hopefully it keeps up. It’s possible we could be best defensive team in league

So you literally just admitted you will be cheering against this team to prove a point lol. Wow
Why, do you think he's going to fail or something? I think he's actually going to play better now that the offense has been dialed back to something more suitable for an average qb. If he comes back and sucks, that's on him.

In all fairness.

Who has Philly played? Lol they haven’t faced a defense like this either. I hate when people say well who have we played but then forget who Philly has played. Stephen a does it and it’s so annoying
I will say that Philly's O-line is probably the best we will have played against. We need all hands on deck and healthy.

Who have we beaten? 3 poorly playing offenses and the toilet paper Giants!

Rush can’t miss? Out of 12 drives yesterday, 9 were four plays. We barely had a pulse on offense.

Obviously, it out-"pulsed" the Rams' offense. Which is kinda the objective of the game, isn't it? Take the fourth straight "W", and quit kvetching about this team's newly-found prosperity.

I do understand the frustration of petulant Madden-players & aptly-named "fantasy" fans who crave 70-point track meets. However, had Dak been in there, errantly slinging the ball downfield, generating three-and-outs (and turnovers) in less than sixty seconds per drive, a game like yesterday's at SoFi might well have turned-out quite differently.

Nothing to do with what I think. You literally said you can’t wait for Dak to come back so you can prove your point. Ergo. You’ll be rooting against the cowboys.
