Bobby Carpenter Signs with Miami

This shows if Bill was still here, he'd be stubborn enough to have kept Bobby this whole time.

Wow, Parcells has really fallen out of touch with reality. :laugh2:

If Parcells was in Dallas there would be no Romo and Barbie would be starting :laugh1:

Shocker! :laugh2:

Well, his ESPN gig is gonna have to wait now....

At least it stops the talk of some of the deaf, dumb, and blind around here from talking about bringing him back as a nickle LB.

I called it. Although I said by the end of the weekend and not on Monday, but the holiday weekend technically isn't over yet.

It was only a matter of time...The Tuna and the Barbie are reunited at last!

Hell, The Tuna prolly picked Barbie up at the airport himself. Probably started talking about Barbie's dad, horse racing, boxing, and Jersey stuff. :laugh1:

I agree. They're all freaked out because Wade said Sean Lee wasn't ready to be the nickel linebacker yet. I wonder if they freaked out as bad when Landry said Tony Dorsett wasn't ready to start. I mean, it's like the same thing.

Seriously, how many former players does this make that the Doplhins have from us? LOL.

It's okay. They're all now worried about the 31 year old Crayton and his untimely departure. The very Crayton they shunned and bashed not too long ago.

Former players, staff, HC, GM, secretaries, equipment guys, towel boys. Et cetera.

Not suprised at all. Good luck to him. He'll need every bit of it.

Parcells is loyal to "his guys" to a fault. Carpenter never would've been drafted by the Cowboys if he wasn't the son of a Parcell's Guy. Maybe a light will come on for Bobby in Miami. If so, good for him. But he never should have been drafted where he was in the first place.

Oh, I know, like he personally cost us the 2007 Divisional playoff game against the Giants.

I would place poor tackling and poor special teams play, as coached by Bruce Read with the Janet Reno haircut, as the causes for that loss. It wasn't Romo -- that's for darn sure. And it wasn't Crayton. It was the defense and the special teams. That's it.

But that's our fans. We're the same bunch that booed Don Meredith out of a restaurant and into an early retirement.

Oh get off it. Barbie was considered a "safe" pick at where he was gotten. Those idiots screaming now that he should never have been picked know squat. It was just a mistake in the process; just like every team has in every draft. All the measureables were there: size, speed, quickness, etc. Major program with a history of sending players to the pros. What it could not measure was what was inside the head; just like every other bust from every other draft.

Dallas just got rid of him. Not exactly the opposite of stubborn to have the guy up until a few months ago.
