There is NO way Stoops wins in the NFL, his offence will not work in the NFL its been tried and tried, the chuck and duck has been tried before, forget Stoops unless you want a losing recoprd for the Boys for the time he is here, NO THANKS, Just say NO to Stoops...

describe for us what "failed in Miami" means please...

because he actually won playoff games in Miami...if thats failing, what would you call Parcells has done here?

So if Parcells wins a wildcard game in a couple of weeks and then gets thrashed 62-7 in the next round, that means he was a success here?

Just like Parcells, Jimmy was paid handsomely to bring his team to Superbowl level and he didn't come close. I consider leaving your job midway into your contract after getting thrashed 62-7 in your last game failing. Worse yet, he handed the reigns over to his hand picked successor Dave Wannstedt ,who proceeded to flush the entire organization right down the tubes, and he didn't draft or develop a QB because he was infatuated with Damon Huard of all people.

Who else has heard these recent rumors of Bobby Petrino (Louisville) replacing Bill Parcells? I'd prefer Bob Stoops or Rick Nueheisel, but Petrino would be a great choice as well. Thoughts?

There were past rumors that Jerry liked Neuheisel. At least he plays to win, unlike Parcells. The guy now has pro experience, I'd say he'd be a good pick. And I do know a thing or two about the game of football. LOL. Didn't Neuheisel field winning teams? A better choice than many, believe me. I'd be fine with him.

If I can't get Fisher, Neuheisel would be my next choice, he'd be perfect for a young offense and QB.

Just say YES to Stoops! LOL. The guy is a proven winner. I still say a top college coach over a crap shoot NFL assistant with no head coaching experience. Or why not Gary Gibbs, he had head coaching experience with Oklahoma and is now a top defensive coordinator for the Saints. He may turn out to be the dark horse in this race. Plus he coached linebackers in Dallas for a number of seasons.

Exactly, and yes, he was Aikman's position coach at UCLA. Played pro ball in the USFL. Has head coaching experience at Colorado & Washington and is now successful on the Ravens staff as QB coach. He'd be a quality choice.

Head coaching experience yes, he was also in way over his head especially at Colorado where he destroyed their program. He is not nearly seasoned or qualified enough to coach the Dallas Cowboys. Ive been a die hard fan for almost 30 years now, Ive watched Landry get fired in the news paper and stuck by them when they went 1-15 and were the laughing stocks of the league but it would be extremely tough if not impossible to stay a Dallas fan if they hired Neuheisel. That guy sickens me.

you mean the guy who lost to RUTGERS?!?!?!? :laugh2: :lmao2: :laugh1: :lmao:

There is no shame to losing to Rutgers.

That team USED to be a joke, but that coach has turned that program around.

They deserve to be respected IMO...and I KNOW the coach deserves to be respected for Rutgers.

Anybody that can turn around a team that had 1 bowl appearance (if I read correctly) in it's 100+ year existence...and turn that team around deserves respect.

He can then come in and be Romo's QB coach, not the teams head coach.

Was thinking the same thing.

He is not HC material, esp in the NFL.

Assistant coach, yes, Head Coach no.

If he was such a good HC he would still be a HC on a college team right now.

I think most college teams are afriad of him (rightfully so) casue of what happened on CO.

The guy just kind of freaks me out...just the looks of him.

Just seems like a guy you would not trust.

Just look at that face.

Reminds me of a cross between David Spade, a (sneaky) Used Car Salesman and some kind of leader of an aryan supremacy group.

Yeh. I know Grimm played for Washington, but he's been in Pitt longer than he was in DC. Is he a Skin or a Steeler? Anyway, if he's a great coach I really don't care.

This paranoia about Neuheisel is so funny. The guy can coach and plays to win, unlike fat boy Parcells.

The guy wins everywhere he goes, when he leaves the programs REVERT TO THE CRAP they were before he was hired.

I think we have a few agendas here?

Buff alums maybe? :laugh2:

Not a buff alum...not even a fan.

However the question remains...if he was so good, why has he not got another HC job at the college level?

I didn't see Miami or Bama going after him, when they asked a number of other coaches.

Heck even Frank Solich got a gig, and has done well for Ohio University.

Bob Huggins (basketball) got a gig after a number of DUI problems.

If a coach is good, a team will hire him as a HC in college.

There isn't a college coach out there outside of maybe Charlie Weis that I think would make Jerry Jones take note. I could easily be wrong.

If Tuna leaves I won't be at all shocked if Jerry goes after Mike Holmgren. I know there is mutual respect there.
