May have had more to do with how well Gholston was playing...i think we really have something with him.
Golston looked like it clicked for him, and the Cowboys have a 5T/3T versatile DE. On certain run downs vs the 49ers DQ had DLaw at RE and Golston at LE to shut the run game down.

Believe both guys contributed in our final game when we were looking for more run defense than pass defense. Don't see any reason to just move on from them. But we should definitely try to improve the position and if that knocks them off the roster, then so be it.

The problem is we had them as first stringers, when they both should just be depth guys. I was surprised Gallimore seemed to fall off so much from the beginning of the year.

Our best interior guys, at the end, at least, were probably Hankins, Osadighizuwa, and Carlos Watkins. Those are the players Quinn seemed to turn to for San Fran.

Golston finally got it going towards the end.

Bo is a stiff. Strictly a backup type.

Galley is a 3 tech being forced to play the 1. I don't think he has the lateral agility to consistently disrupt the pocket.
Gallimore at the 3 can be a decent player. He’s also in a contract year which ironically is generally a guys best season. He’s not likely a guy you extend but moving on doesn’t make a lot of sense unless you get extremely lucky in the draft. At 26 a DT that’s a stud is gonna be a serious challenge. One reason we haven’t taken a DT high in recent years is the options that were available compared to what we took

Sometimes it takes some time to grow physically and technically
It’s tough inside in the nfl

Ozi was pretty good IMO... and as for Ridgeway, he was playing in a 5 DL formation in the games I saw, and if you know the 'skins DT's he is definitely the one I would have focused on LAST.

Not as great as Ridgeway as a rotational DT played for the Commanders. Ridgeway is young and healthy. Hankins is not.

Jerry loved Ridgeway, but someone obviously convinced him to keep Bohanna and bring Hankins instead. How did that pan out? Look at the coaches Jerry recently got rid of. You don't get rid of coaches after back-to-back 12-5 seasons unless they messed up with their decision making.
Good points

Ridgeway didn't look sluggish at all playing for the Commanders this season, K. He actually was very nimble, aggressive and attacked and made plays. Check it out. Ridgeway played awesome for the Commanders! It's so upsetting because we definitely could have used him. Instead, these foolish coaches and front office cut and gave him away for free!!!:mad::mad::mad:

Check out the comments from Commanders fans underneath the video. It's infuriating because Ridgeway should have been wearing a Star on his helmet! He was exactly what we needed! These idiots in Dallas don't know what they are doing!!!

Gallimore only started 1 game.

Bohanna missed the Vikings game due to injury and didn't start any games afterwards.

Soon as Gallimore came in the second half they started running the ball with success, can’t speak on Bohanna but Gallimore was a weak spot agaisnt SF

..that's up to DQ, primarily. He'll know what to do.

Best part, they'll listen.

I cannot recall being as disappointed in a player as much as I am with Gallimore this season. I really thought he would make the leap this year in his 3rd year as a pro. I never thought Bohanna would be great in year two. But there is no point in moving on from them now. If Gallimore does not show a big improvement by the end of training camp I would definitely be willing to move on from him. I have said it a million times, Hill and Ridgeway were both better than Gallimore. Not protecting Ridgeway was a mistake for Dallas. But Gallimore is now in the same boat as Hill. He will be a free agent after next year and at this point why re-sign him?
Galley is too straightlinish. Which means he's going to always have trouble getting through the LOS. Can't just bull rush everyone.
