Hurd will be gone for a while, Austin maybe longer than 2 weeks depending on his recovery, and Stanback is back week 1!!!! Great we now have an unproven receiver ready to go for week 1 transferring from QB in College to a must need position for us.

Jerry isn't stupid. Glenn will be back, Romo and him both have chemestry to a point.

Now on the other side look how many DB's we kept. I think Jerry will package a deal to Detroit with the DB's, maybe a LB (Carpenter) and a pick(s).

Come one, Detroit couldn't be that stupid, could they? Roy will be gone next year. He is a #1 type receiver not liking it there, wanting to be in Texas.

No one has sung this song more than me. I think it's a no brainer for both teams and Roy Williams. That probably means the logic of it is above Matt Millen's capacity for rational thought. They need DB help, we have it. They are heavy at WR, we need it.

He would welcome it and we'd have the final piece of the puzzle. For the first time in a long time his friend hasn't kept in touch.

I doubt it. I'd love it, but I doubt it.

isnt going to happen,

for several reasons, like one guy posted, detroit kept 4 wrs, they arent going to trade one, they are primarily a passing team,

detroit is trying to run, but they are a passing team first

then matt millen is a horses you know what, tough to deal with, have you seen very many trades with goosey millen no.

now i am thinking like one guy posted previously on another post;

the cowboys will trade with cardinals for someone like urban maybe, or go after rector whom was cut today, again i dont like rector because he just doesnt make plays and he always gets hurt,

dont get me wrong, i like him he is a good kid, but football wise he just doesnt come through;

another team to trade with would be the saints, they use the same system that the cowboys use somewhat,
so you might see someone from there, granted i dont care for cooper, but he is a good special teams player too and we do need a good special teams guy

so, i say think along those lines, rector or arizona or saints;

someone mentioned the wr from miami that got cut, cant think of his name right now, but the guy is slower than molasses like 4. 64 in 40

I read the title of this thread and I thought it read "We will trade Roy Williams" and sign Glenn. I was thinking.....

Now I think, I would like trading for RW but I just really doubt it happens.
