Book it.. We will trade for Roy Williams and get Terry back.

They openly admit they will focus on being a running team.

No team is a running team when they are 2 TD's behind. Detroit may be a 1st Quarter running team... that's about it.

Where have you been? If a Cowboys player is not an immediate superstar he is labeled a bust. There have been hundreds of posts about Stanback being a bust.
There's been plenty hyping up Stanback. I'm ready to see the show already! I wanna see Stanback run and catch and do everything folks have hyped him up to be

I think all Stanback is just us all hoping for the best.

Why and how someone gets so much hype without playing a down at his new position in the NFL is beyond me.

No one has sung this song more than me. I think it's a no brainer for both teams and Roy Williams. That probably means the logic of it is above Matt Millen's capacity for rational thought. They need DB help, we have it. They are heavy at WR, we need it.

He would welcome it and we'd have the final piece of the puzzle. For the first time in a long time his friend hasn't kept in touch.

I doubt it. I'd love it, but I doubt it.

I doubt it too.
Millan lacks confidence for such a trade. And Jerra is showing nerves of steel for not making a trade before the last preseason game.

Our 3rds are coming back, gradually. For now, Jerra is comfortable with T.O., Crayton, Witten and whatever 3rd-string tackling dummy they can have on the roster.

Put me down for wanting to get Jamaica Rector back in the depth ranks.

What is the status of Glenn? He would make the most sense to me since he knows the offense and would seem to be able to step right in. Can he pass a physical, and I thought he, like everyone else, was going to Miami?

He is a FA.

He can't pass a physical otherwise he would be a Cowboy or Dolphin.

His career is most likely over.

On the recurring topic of resigning Terry Glenn:

Dolphins | Decision on T. Glenn put on hold
Wed, 6 Aug 2008 17:30:31 -0700

Barry Jackson, of the Miami Herald, reports a decision on whether to sign free-agent WR Terry Glenn (Cowboys) has been put on hold while the Miami Dolphins and Glenn consider their options. The delay gives Glenn more time to get into better condition, and it gives the Dolphins more time to evaluate their current receivers. Glenn has not been brought in for a workout and the team does not have one scheduled.

Hos, you hit the nail right on the head. I'd love to see it happen, but I just don't think we'll see it happen.
