Just to note I feel we will keep both Cooper and Tank and make cap room through restructures (please dont touch Zekes contract) and releasing smaller contracts like Jarwins, Zuerleins, and possibly Anthony Brown or Jourdan Lewis.

Also feel we will retain priority free agents Gregory, Kearse, Wilson, Armstrong, Anger, and McQuaide. Shultz, Gallup, and Williams will be starting for new teams next season. And a free agent I hope to see us target is TE Hayden Hurst. A starter quality TE who sadly saw his team draft Kyle Pitts. I would offer Hurst a 1 year prove it deal at 4 to 5 mil to be our starting TE next season.

1st- OL Kenyon Green, Texas A&M - Day 1 starter at LG who can slide out to LT if needed. A much needed improvement over both Connors.

2nd- DT Travis Jones, UCONN - The dominant run stuffer we all have been begging for. Kid has great size at 6'4" 326lbs with big wingspan, long arms, and huge hands. Doesn't offer much as a pass rusher, but we will blow up the run and make Parsons and our next pick jobs so much easier.

3rd- LB Channing Tindall, Georgia - He's not Nakobe Dean, but he is a very fast and athletic playmaker in his own right. Great run defender, solid blitzer, and good enough in coverage to earn the starting MLB spot by end of the season. Will allow Parsons to be used more as a pass rusher and less as a traditional LB.

4th- TE Jake Ferguson, Wisconsin - Seems to be a fan favorite on here so I included him, but truthfully there are a handful of TEs with 3rd and 4th round rankings that could fall to us. Also kids comp is literally Dalton Shultz. Replacing Shultz with a younger Shultz.

5th- WR Kyle Philips, UCLA- A quick and shifty slot only receiver with hands that will catch anything thrown his way. Can also take over as our punt returner.

(comp) 5th- S Tycen Anderson, Toledo - Fast and athletic safety who will come in and compete to be the 3rd safety. Potential starting safety down the line.

6th- K Cade York, LSU - Got rid of Zuerlein so a new kicker is needed. York is hands down the best kicker in this years draft and might be the one kicker worthy of a draft pick. completed 90% of his kick this year and hit the game winning 57 yard field goal through fog against Florida last year. Would even consider using a late 2023 pick to move up and snag York. Don't want to watch a bad kicker lose us games next season.

One of the better ones thanks

Love Kyle Phillips. Only knock is he’s going to be a slot guy and it pushes 88 outside

I like your first few picks but want no part of a WR or a Kicker in this draft. Malik Turner seems solid as a 4 behind Lamb Wilson & Cooper and drafting a WR seems like a battle for a 5th man who probably doesn’t dress game day .

Kicker I bring Zuerlein and a FA to camp may the more accurate man win if it’s Zuerlein let’s see if a year removed from surgery helps.

With such a deep DE class, to not take one would be a mistake.

Love Philips as well. I am curious to see which WRs fall to the 2nd and even down to our pick in the 2nd. I could see us taking a WR in the 2nd over a DT due to the front office not valuing DTs.

I would love to see us bring Malik Turner back as well. He looked decent the games he subbed in but i would still love to see a WR brought in to compete for that 4th spot.

Bringing in UDFA kickers is probably what we end up doing though.

I am sure we take a DE instead of the safety or the kicker i chose. Especially if Armstrong gets bigger offers then expected on the market.

Just trying to bring different names instead of the same few players everyone picks for mocks.

Agreed.

The DT room is already deep. Osa, Gallimore, Hill, Bohanna. We likely bring Watkins back

Receivers will hopefully remain Coop, Lamb, Wilson and Turner, I don’t expect Gallup back. So a new WR is more likely IMO

I am curious about Jameson Williams out of Alabama. Hearing he could slide well out of the 1st round for whatever reason.

Doing my best to try and think how this team thinks and a late round DT i could see us targeting is Otito Ogbonnia out of UCLA. Great size at 6'3" 326. 84 3/4 wing span, 35 1/8 inch arm length, 10" hands. Im sure they been scouting him while they was scouting Osa.

Williams is one of those guys if somehow he slides to day two, he’s gone immediately. If he starts sliding a team with a lot of talent will move up and snag him. He won’t free fall past around pick 5-7 on day two

would like to see a de in there somewhere even if it was a traits guy to develop
With that said..Yes Please.

I really like the 1st 4 picks.

I really think the last 3 picks should be OL, and a DE.
WR and K don't do much for me. Not crazy about the S pick, but I can handle the position.

Overall a A- draft.

Nice draft selections but you are far more optimistic of the Cowboys keeping Coop and Tank. I say let them both walk. Get future comp picks for them and use that savings to spread the money to get better depth. Yes, the talent will be lesser, but how many years have Dallas fans heard that "Cowboys have so much talent". Has not produced anything but personal achievement. Coaching? Maybe, but rather get better depth because injuries always happen and want SOB/beast players than divas.

I like the first two picks and the safety in the fifth, Build the trenches, but I would probably look elsewhere on the rest.

I might be more optimistic we keep our players. Might just be knowing that we have an owner that has a hard time letting go. Going to be interesting when the time comes to cut Zeke if Jerry can go through with it.

I like the top of your draft. Question, If you took Jeremy Ruckert, TE in the 3rd
Which of these LB might somehow fall to Dallas pick in the 4th?

Brandon Smith Penn State LB
Christian Harris Alabama LB
Chad Muma Wyoming LB --- this is the one that I think will drop
Quay Walker Georgia LB
Channing Tindall Georgia LB
Damone Clark LSU LB
