Is it just me or did both teams look horrible tonight? The Commanders offense was offensive and so was their defense. Jacobs averaged something like 6.7 yards per carry tonight! Plexiglass had 150 yards but the giants still only scored 16 points..WOW!:lmao2:
It was almost like the Giants got bored after the first half. Eli had three picks dropped, reminisent of the last drive in the SB. he must go to church alot. The Oline just handled the Skins though.

I've been wondering when the years of squandering their draft picks would catch up with them. They're going to have a long season aided by a rookie head coach who's out of his element.

If anyone noticed, Kiwinuka might have gotten a high ankle sprain on the last play.

didn't play that good and look how many points the Giants got, thats pathetic were gonna steamroll them

just like last year in playoffs?

Giants run game was impressive. Other than that a typical NFC east game, physical. Nothing more nothing less to read into it.

I think Giants looked great in the 1st quarter

if they play like that over the course of a game they will be tough to beat.

But of course thats a big if

Maybe. Just because they made a run last year does not mean anything. If they do it again then you can say it is part of their character.

The better moment was when the announcers pointed out that Portis was coaching Zorn moments before he broke a 20 yard run. He clearly went up to him and told him what would work and it did. Reminded me of Riggins and the Hogs ignoring Gibbs' playcalls and just doing 50 gut over and over.

Dude, you're 21. You were barely a tingle in your dad's balls when Riggins played.

Actually.. I think if you were born in 86, and Riggins retired in 85, I'd say you were probably BEING CONCEIVED around that time. I'll give you that much.

Plax had an outstanding game. Jacobs had a great game also.

Burress was the ONLY effective weapon in the passing game, I kept waiting and waiting for the Skins to start doubling him...

Basically, the Skins lost the game in the trenches, on both sides of the ball...

Commanders are a team that just needs to get better through the season.

They aren't as good as their fans made them out to be. They are idiots.

I just wish I could find the player rankings thread that was posted the other day and give it a good bump.

Washington better just try to learn as much as possible this season about their system and shoot for 7-9.

Giants for the most part dominated the first half of the game & coasted the lead the rest of it. The Giants played well, the Skins......not so much.
