He did make some plays. Two off the top was the screen he sniffed out and the toss to Jacobs that he strung out as the only defender to the right matched up on a tackle, played both sides and still made the tackle on Jacobs when he went outside for a short gain.
He had a rough game, but still made some plays.
His biggest problem is the position that they brought him in to play. He doesn't belong on the strong side, and neither does Carter. And their defense isn't built to run like the Colts, who would probably do pretty well with a Carter/Taylor combination. His play will suffer due to the fact that the Commanders decision makers are incompetent. They panicked, and brought a guy in to replace Daniels who is BETTER than Phillip Daniels, but is fully incapable of REPLACING Phillip Daniels.
