With Hitchens back, and Awuzie and Woods stealing S reps, I'd be pretty satisfied for the short term, anyway.

I'm not sure about Awuzie but Woods looks like he could be the future at safety, and if Bowman can provide stability while we figure out Jaylon, I'm all for it.

It's amazing the difference one or two players can make.

Hell, just getting Sean Lee back next week is huge.

Has the team filled both of the roster spots that opened this week as a result of Carroll and Paea?

I know they signed the linebacker (whose name escapes me), but do they still have an open spot?

Remember, we brought in Zach Thomas to school a young Sean Lee on how to play LBer in the NFL.

Bowman wouldn't need to be here but a year or 2 in order to coach up Jaylon & the younger guys.

Look what 1 year of having Romo there to coach up Dak accomplished.

EDIT: Crap, I must be going senile. Thomas was in 2008. I was thinking of Keith Brooking, the 12 year vet.

IF Lee and Hitchens healthy where do we play Bowman? Move Hitchens to SLB? Bowman plays MLB. Jaylon can warm the bench.

That would be my guess. And then play Lee and Hitchens in passing situations.

Real talk.

Jaylon has been unfairly thrown into the fire.

We can do better than Heath. Looks like he's a guy who can make some plays in spot duty, but that's it.

Yep. I like what Woods has shown. No reason not to give him his shot in my opinion.

And Smith is just lost out there right now. Healthy or not healthy. He needs to sit for a while.

thomas struggled here and had to deal with the "Racial" season when owens said the white players were calling secret plays..(right out of deion sanders playbook)

Thomas called it the worst locker room he had ever been in during his entire career!!

Well they are currently 2-3, we are 2-3...plus he might not start for them. Carr probably going to be gone almost as long as Zeke.

Plus our daddy in GB is gone probably for the season, don't know why we would give up right now.

Wait I was wrong, now the Raiders are 2-4, looking like an attractive place to be over us.

Not. Yeah Carr played, didn't matter, still lost.

they are about to lose on thursday night also to KC.

I mean I think they will KC apparently will be missing Hunt and Hill to concussion though.

So many teams picked to do awesome this suddenly struggling. Some teams look dominant 1 week, then horrible the next. Today a Commanders team that looked fantastic a week ago narrowly avoided losing to a winless 49ers team.

its just the nature of the league everyone is almost the same. Injuries and environment as the season wears on dictate a lot of what happens late in the year.

atlanta had some bad losses last year and so did seattle.

Its just up and down for almost everyone.
