CJ is so far from a proven commodity at this point that signing him would do nothing in terms of swallowing one's pride.
we ll have to see. Im not saying Dallas is completely wrong, but they are waging a huge bet. To me, whats left to sign, CJ is at least capable. I never thought we were getting AP. Im not against Ray Rice, but thats a PR nightmare. (and personal around here i see). I dont believe we trade for one. So out of whos left, CJ to me, makes sense.
Now can we roll the dice on what we have, sure, but here are the facts, 2 of those running backs are known for being injured, and thats going to come up far more than any of them going injury free. (please dont start the freak injuries or the mere fact anyone can be injured, just going off those personal histories).
Other than that, and our window for winning the SB after this season, a lot rests on what happens or how they handle post Romo, hes going to be another year old, and another year battered. A big portion of our wins come from that guy alone.
