The problem with having a old coach is that no one can tell him what to do.
He has been through it all and he..only he knows how to win.

We need to draft a real QB in the early rounds. You can have all the talent you want but without a QB it means nothing. The QB doesnt have to be throwing for 300+ yds but smart.

Since Troy Aikman the QB's in Dallas have been a joke and the laughing stock of the NFL. I dont understand how America's Team can settle for bums at the most important spot on the field.

Bill is a legend......Drew is a HOF QB......Vinny still had one of the strongest arms in the league....our drafting has been excellent....just look at all those picks becoming superstars.....

QC was CLEARLY all JJ. Bringing in Leaf and Hutch was also JJ. BP got stuck with two of them early on. DB did a good job for us last year considering the lousy O line. If he is no longer good enough we will find out in the next 3 games and he will be gone. Then it is Romo time. The good thing would be that we would probably be able to find out if he is the next QB so that if he is not we can make a move in the offseason.

But let's make no mistake about Aikman...give the man the credit on one being good over so many being bad.

Jimmy thought so much of Aikman that he used a first round sup pick on another QB.

revisionist history and a touch of forgetting about jimmy spending a 1st rounder sup pick on walsh cause he didn't care for aikman.

like i said - some people just have an undying need to bash and facts just get in the way of their hate parade, so they're dismissed rather easily with any excuse at all.

when people get this blind it's pointless to talk sense into them. they've built up things the way they want 'em and that's that. nyc is dead wrong but will never admit it and will never see what really happened cause he wants to hate every move JJones has made.

The harping about Testeverde is ridiculous and proves that fans either have short memories or selective memories - or both.

Testeverde was not brought in to be "THE MAN" or to carry the team into the future. He was brought in ONLY as veteran insurance in case Quincy busted - which he did.

Jerry thought Qunicy was "THE MAN" and Parcells was smart enough to know better. Testeverde was merely a back up plan - and probably the best he could do considering Jerry thought he already had the QB position settled with Quincy.

Think about how piss poor the team would have been had Parcells not brought in the veteran insurance - it would have been a blood bath if Henson had been forced to start all year.
