You asked about self respect. And its not a stretch. Its fact. Tavon Austin was called out, so was Kellen Moore, and Sajay, and etc etc etc. Garrett has never manned up since he started here. He is the king of blame shifting.
The context of my comment was him talking to Jerry about his job for the coming year.
Garrett hasn't thrown people under the bus remotely like some claim. Players don't even say that when they leave - other than Dez of course, who is a well known malcontent.
The funny thing is fans at times rag on Garrett for not calling out players in the media, but now the mantra has changed even though he still has never called out players. The most he has done is explain what went wrong with a play, and in doing so naturally the players involved get mentioned. How in the world do you explain what went wrong with a play without mentioning the players involved? And even then, he tries very hard to soften the responsibility of the players involved, yet fans still take it as him throwing players under the bus.
The truth is, the media played it out that way a time or two, and fans who don't seem to be able to think for themselves, or who don't even bother to read the content of what Garrett says, just eagerly and blindly go along with the sensationalized headline.
