BR: Garrett isn't coaching for his job (speculation)

Yep, that is why Garrett was saying he felt "fantastic" this week....................I would too if I had botched 2-3 games this year all resulting in losses and found out I got a pass.................I though Garrett was going to start break dancing when the news of Romo being hurt came out.

I bet you Garrett's father has Jerry in compromising positions, like smoking crack with a bunch of hookers and throwing some guy over a bridge.

Yeah I was one of the people that used to say that JJ wanted to win more than anyone else but after watching closely I came to realize that he wants to get the credit for winning more than anything else. JJ wants no part in winning after hiring a high profile coach or a gm because everyone would say that the reason we were winning is because of said coach or gm and it would prove that his naysayers were right all along.

I think at this point he is entrenched in his philosophy and come hell or high water he's going to make it work. He's kind of like a person that plays a certain slot machine for hours upon hours, he's losing money but he doesn't want to leave the machine because he thinks that the next person will hit the jackpot after he's fed it all day.

This right here. You nailed it to a tee. I use to have the same opinion about Jerry and with How he treats Garrett, this is the reality. Jerry forced Wade's hand to demote Stewart after one season and then fire him. He didn't allow him any grace period to learn on the job.

Wow couldn't have said it better myself! Your post is right on the money!

.

Right on. Not only this, but Coach Jones would also be hearing how he wasted 15 years or so by being stubborn.
