Easily

Mahomes
Allen
Stroud
Jackson

Top 4.

Dak should be right there. Maybe Hurts too.

I think Burrow should be on the outside looking in after Week 1.

Nobody else I can think of belongs in the Top 6, or 7

A lot of people are giving him praise. Turn on your TV set. Just the reality of the situation in the NFL right now

A better perspective would be many here roasting Brady's take also raved about Lance and he should be our next starting QB after he threw 5 INTs in a pre-season game. The 1st half, Dak played great and he was kinda 'meh' in the 2nd half. That was also part of the strategy from the coaches, we had a large lead and in control of the game, so we played conservatively, no need to take chances. People struggle to be objective, especially on this forum, Brady was not breaking down Dak's entire career, just Sunday's game and there was nothing in what he said that wasn't true, just some people don't want to hear it.
Others are blaming MM for clock management and you are here saying Dak's scrappy play and missed throws were a conservative strategy. . . Which is it?

You Dak Apologists should really get your story straight

You should follow another team. Quit kidding yourself and the rest of us. You've become a bonafied anti-Cowboys poster. Just leave already. It would make you and the rest of this forum much happier.

QB play around the league was complete garbage this past weekend.

We should be happy Dak is here because he is easily top 5-6 at this point.
No . . . we should not be happy but if you are enjoy. You get to roast the team every time we lose and give Dak all the credit every time we win

You got at least 4 more years of this . . . You won your Super Bowl

Based on regular season and when the team can give Dak a lead then you're right.

I don't know what you're talking about. The only issue I had with MM clock mgmt was not calling a TO at the end of the 1st half for the FG attempt, otherwise his mgmt and play calling were fine. The 2nd half was all about being conservative, conservative playcalling and conservative play, no need to risk or gamble, control the game and get the win, move on.

Some like you will always find fault regardless, if the Cowboys played with the same strategy in the 2nd half as the 1st half you would just complain that they were stat padding, you will always find something to complain about. There was no need to run up the score or put more plays on tape. It was a win, a decisive win and a good game for all 3 phases, but some people gotta hate for hate's sake.

Brady pointed out Dak saw the blitz made an audible and beat the blitz for a TD, but people like you claim he can't read a defense, maybe you need to get your story straight. I'm sure there's some clouds that you can go yell at.

What are you talking about? You think Lamar Jacksons team doesn't give him a lead in most games?

How about Patrick Mahomes? How good has his team been recently in keeping the game close even when the offense does nothing for 3 quarters?

How dominant is Brock Purdys team?

You underrate Dak's ability in giving us the lead in lots of games. Wasn't it him that got us to 14-3 in the first 4 possessions? Are you really gonna say it's all the defense? Talk about ridiculous oversight lol

You're gaslighting. That Browns performance was 'standard Dak', excellent when he doesnt have to step up. We'll start obsessing over his performance when he does something that overcomes the aspect of his game in which he trails the other elite QB's......orchestrating a comeback win (or even getting close), when needing a TD.

Since the injury, I can only remember the (at the time awful) Houston's comeback.

Jackson, Mahomes and Purdy have all shown that fighting mentality to orchestrate comeback wins......with Dak it appears that 10 pts down he panics.

Balanced argument, something you cant appreciate.......or can you.....if we take the premise that the he whole team needs to improve.....WHAT DO YOU THINK DAK SHOULD IMPROVE ON?

I was just thinking...at the risk of being a hater and raging...

I was NOT impressed and I will tell you why. This is classic Dak. He did all the right things, things you EXPECT your star QB to do.

Now give us a 12-point 4th QTR comeback victory in San Fran and I'll be greatly impressed.

I apologize to the dak people...I'm a "do your job" kinda fellow. Go above and beyond if you want the kudos.

There was Philly too. 2022

Nobody except Mahomes regularly make comebacks. Jackson isn't known for comebacks...right? Am I missing something? I'm seeing an amazing team that dominates most teams they play but obviously meets their match with the Chiefs. Joe Burrow also when you take away some of his teams' best assets it seems like he wins and loses some just like everyone else to me.

And I also remember 49ers fans being really upset at Purdy over the Packers game. They didn't feel they should've had to comeback against a team they're superior to. Winning ugly is below 49ers' standards for the kinda team they have.

But also ...49ers defense plays only one bad half of football. Cowboys defense was atrocious both halves against the Packers.

I don't think you have to be comeback king to be labeled one of the best QBs. Nobody else except Mahomes is some comeback guru.

Also I think we have to realize it's a new season. The team isn't gonna be the same as 2023. That team was feast or famine all year. Maybe we play differently this year with new coaches, new schemes, new players. Just saying.
