Brady breaks down Dak Prescott's impressive performance against the Browns

there are a variety of reason why dak gets hated on I would say the biggest is our failures of 28 years and blaming the QB position instead of the TEAM. part of our fanbase thinks there is a Patrick Mahomes or Brady behind door #2. Without regarding all the help they have received. They believe he is the biggest reason for our fails. (i don't I believe our biggest reason is in the press box). Oh and this reason $$$$$$$$$.
  1. his interceptions at crucial times in playoffs, they believe hes a 1 read QB and he will always fail
  2. his deer in headlights look in playoffs when the camera shows him after a turnover
  3. some are still salty about him displacing romo (not as much this anymore)
  4. Some of the more positive posters that continue to post positive things that elevate or excuse Dak riles up the other side. (the truth is somewhere in the middle)
Posters like the one you mentioned above are not the majority but he does his best to get as many other posters to see things like he does. That kind of what trolls do but there are only a handful of those hes just the most vocal. in the end he ends up being wrong more often than not.

there are probably other reasons as well
All those things might be true. It's true franchises like the Patriots and Chiefs have turned around but you need really good front office personnel, a top coach , and a goat QB. All these things have to work together.

Not easily achievable goals. But some people just want to educate us on the fact that it's possible by providing examples like the Chiefs or Patriots. Of course it is - we know. But it's just way hard.

I guess also Cowboys fans like to endlessly debate whether Dak is great or elite or not. Eagles fans for example usually don't care if Hurts is elite or not. Their minds are more thinking Eagles problems.

Also usually most teams give their QBs some credit for being good in the regular season. Cowboys fans don't for some reason. They forget everything that led up to January as soon as that first playoff game kicks off. Very very selective button dialing if you ask me.

The throw to Cooks before he even cleared the back line of the defenders and made his cut was incredible. Another great play call, and one I haven't heard anyone discuss, was when we were in (I think) 3rd and 2 or 3 and Cle was very wide on the DL with no LBers in the middle. Dak audibled to a hand-off up the middle for an easy first down. That was great awareness. He also threw a great pass to CeeDee down the sideline. That being said, Dak was pretty good on Sunday, but not great. He stared down CeeDee on too many slants and forced it to him. He also missed someone horribly on that roll right when the guy was wide open for an easy first down (I can't remember if it was Cooks or one of the Jaylons) and had a few other poor throws. But, he didn't make any big mistakes which is what you want when you are up big and it was week 1. I'm not going to be overly critical of a QB in week 1 when his team basically wins in a blowout. Sign me up for that every single week for the rest of his career.

It was a cool throw but it looked to me like he heaved it up. He saw it happening...and lobbed it. Nice!

That was a very good pass and a great catch.

Well, after nothing much to show for. Only badly underthrown long wobblers and 2 near INTs that would have been his fault.

Cant trust a NFL QB who cant make difficult throws on a constant basis.
You realize he couldn’t follow through on either one of those passes you’re talking about. He did a great job getting it there the way he did.

A better perspective would be many here roasting Brady's take also raved about Lance and he should be our next starting QB after he threw 5 INTs in a pre-season game. The 1st half, Dak played great and he was kinda 'meh' in the 2nd half. That was also part of the strategy from the coaches, we had a large lead and in control of the game, so we played conservatively, no need to take chances. People struggle to be objective, especially on this forum, Brady was not breaking down Dak's entire career, just Sunday's game and there was nothing in what he said that wasn't true, just some people don't want to hear it.
What did I say that wasn't true?

I get your point, but you can say this about every player who does something good. WR caught the ball like he is paid to do....RB picked up the blitz like he is paid to do. DE sacked the QB like he is paid to do....
Very true. Obviously though some plays get made that are much more difficult and improbable than others.

I can’t recall. A better catch or throw. Doesn’t. mean there wasn’t one lol Cleveland, Cooper I felt bad he dropped that touchdown catch it was in his hands. And a lot of our fans think he’s better than lamb.
I think Amari is a very good receiver but not better than CeeDee. CeeDee is on a whole different plain.

To me its pretty simple by Dak's own standards this was not a great game, on the other hand he made the plays this game needed and didnt force issues that didnt need to be forced...was it great...no but it was what this game needed..do that all year and we got something...if he needs to make plays then make them, when the D has the game on lock down dont force issues and make thier job harder..32 coaches in this league say the same thing to thier QB...

1st half dak played great, 2nd half dak played poorly, its really that simple whether you are a lover or hater of Dak.
They took the foot off the pedal. And tried to make Dak a bus driver, to run clock, when he was like a Ferrari in the 1st half. Dak did not know how to slow down the bus. They needed to keep going with the Ferrari.

Did Tom go into Daks’s impressive 20th ranked competition percentage? 15th ranked QBR or 58 PFF?

Did he break down how Dak managed under 50 yards and a bunch of 3 and outs in the 2nd half?

Y’all realize he’s a paid media hack, yah? He also said Dak’s biggest problem to date is he can’t win big games Is there a clip for that?

The only impressive thing was your creative thread title.
Poor excuses to show your dislike. Enjoy the win, if you are real fan.

I dont think so, that defense no matter what they started like is good, once you knew our defense had this well in hand.. no need to let thier defense give the game life.

You're gaslighting. That Browns performance was 'standard Dak', excellent when he doesnt have to step up. We'll start obsessing over his performance when he does something that overcomes the aspect of his game in which he trails the other elite QB's......orchestrating a comeback win (or even getting close), when needing a TD.

Since the injury, I can only remember the (at the time awful) Houston's comeback.

Jackson, Mahomes and Purdy have all shown that fighting mentality to orchestrate comeback wins......with Dak it appears that 10 pts down he panics.

Balanced argument, something you cant appreciate.......or can you.....if we take the premise that the he whole team needs to improve.....WHAT DO YOU THINK DAK SHOULD IMPROVE ON?
Did he not step up in the 1st half to get them that lead to being with?
