did you hear him in the post game comments? he said "it's not like I played 4 quarters of bad football"...lol. nothing more I hate than garbage time stats.

I guess he's just trying to find something to keep his confidence from bottoming out. To be honest, I'd really hate to see what a confidence-less Weeden looks like, cause he certainly must have come into this game feeling pretty good after the way he played when he spelled Romo against the Commanders.

What bothers me is that he is focusing on his inaccurate throws. That sucked, but that wasn't why we are complaining. it isn't your lack of accuracy - it is your inability to find the right receiver.

It wasn't even that, it was deciding who was going to get the ball pre-snap and then throwing bullets that the intended receivers could not even try to make a play on. That was hands down the worst QBing I have ever seen in Dallas and post-Troy through pre-Tony that is saying a whole lot.

What's it going to be then, eh?

The real question is which coach sighed off on weeden as the primary back up QB after watching him all off season?

Isn't he responsible for the ineptitude shown by Weeden?

Probably the head coach who also thought Brad Johnson could play.

Brandon Weeden on struggles vs. Arizona: "A couple of timing issues. A couple of not very good throws... Just never really got in a rhythm
Weeden: The first throw I missed Dez on the sideline. That was on me. We never really got into a rhythm until late, and it was too late.."
Weeden: Peterson is probably NFL's best CB. Cromartie is a good player. But when you have 88, you gotta get him the ball as much as possible

Nooooooooooooooo. Weeden could not be more wrong about this.

This ain't Cleveland, where he was stuck with Josh Gordon and a bunch of stiffs. We have multiple weapons, all of whom can make the opposition pay for focusing too much on any one guy. Use them.

Ummmm.....

So McCoy and Sanchez are Pro Bowlers now lol. My point was....before this offseason Weeden, Sanchez and McCoy were all considered on the same level. Ex-franchise quarterbacks who failed. Weeden was the last one drafted out of all of those guys though he was older but he had the least amount of tape out there than all of them. None of them are Kyle Orton.

McCown would have been a great pickup!

He's proven to suck though lol. And he also got a very nice deal too. Much more than Weeden got and much more than we had to offer. But if you would've asked me this offseason....McCown would've been my choice if we had the money. But he couldn't do anything with a pretty good receiving core.

"Same old haters"? What do you mean taken out of context? There was no context lol. All you said was "Ummm....." lol. You left me to come up with my own clarification and understanding for what you wrote.

To say McCoy and Sanchez would've been better pickups than Weeden is simply a hindsight opinion. There was NOTHING to say they would've been better pickups this offseason and there is nothing now that says they would be better pick ups now. Because if you want to be honest? These past two weeks? None of our receivers look nearly as good as what the Deadskins and Eagirls have been throwing out there. Maclin and Dez are both in contract years but IMO only one of those guys looks like he's trying to get big money.

Recent history is all. Where you get that I implied that they are pro bowlers is the QUITE out of context part. Do not dare to try to put words in my mouth that you pull out of your ***.

Did anyone see Weeden play in college? What about him made him a first round pick? Other than arm strength, he doesn't have any other skills that I could see in the preseason and his start against Arizona. I would be interested in any views anyone who saw him in college had.

Usually in college your draft status is based on what they believe you will be in the pro's. Like a lot of Heisman draft picks are late rounders because they don't believe their talent will translate into the NFL despite being the best player in college.

I seriously don't know why Weeden is still on this team................if I was the head coach, I would have told him to clean out his locker after that performance...............it was literally that bad.
