I would like to see what his record against WINNING teams is. Thats where you separate the men from the boys imo. That and playoff record.

Pittsburgh is the one outlier for me.

Otherwise, it's more of what we've always said.

Garrett can beat the bad teams and not the good ones. This information simply reinforces that.

Forget his record. Watch how he coaches the team for games. Basic stuff eludes him, like clock management and decision making. The question is, how much better would the Cowboys record be if they had a coach better than Garrett?

8 years and almost no playoff success for one of the most valuable franchises in any sport.

He's answered all questions about his ability as a coach. Time has exposed him for what he is. Mediocre.

He provides a 50-50 brand of football and he's getting those types of results.

or better yet, games against teams where roster talent and records are evenly matched and coaching is a factor that could make the difference.

I would love to have a private conversation with Bill Parcells about Garrett and the Cowboys. Parcells can be criticized for being too conservative, especially towards the end of his coaching career, but what he was not was "football stupid."

Big Bill knew how to play the game to his advantage, to take the air out of the ball and play the percentages. Neither Garrett nor Linehan, for as smart as they like to think they are, have ever truly figured that part out.

And I'd love to hear a storied coach who understand the fundamentals give an honest, off the record evaluation. The number of missed opportunities under Garrett's coaching reign have been enormous.

Should be 1-1 in the playoffs.

Garrett is 1-2 in the playoffs. Win against Detroit, 2 losses against GB, 2 losses they could have won.
He is also 0-3 in win and in games in those 3 8-8 seasons...as well as wins a game last year, as against Seattle and Philly, though he won against backups, but still needed and could have won that Seattle game, and gets in. So that is 0-4 on missing the playoffs.

Not a good track record at all, pretty pathetic actually.

Truth is.......... Garrett needs everything stacked in his favor, then... he MAY win a few more than he loses over time. Anything else and he is merely a .500 coach. Head coaches are SUPPOSED to give you an advantage on game day. Not just kinda be along for the ride.

The team will always be turning over. It's salary cap.

If you can't coach a team because the roster is always changing then the NFL isn't for you.

Jerry Jones is definitely the root cause but I feel like Jerry could at the very least give us a coach that puts us and him in the the best position for the team to succeed on the field.
I wonder how the other teams are....is it similar, more or less....but that wasn't a support vote or against garrett...if we turned over the group in 3 years,,,almost 80%...*** is the scouting dept. doing? if they are improving the talent, then why the turn over?

also, my other point waswe have been in this mode for 22 years....so to your point...seems like jerry is a the root cause and regardless of whom we bring we are going to end up average....which has been the past 22 years....we have had all kinds of coaches and great coaches won't get along with his meddling enough to come here......

I've seen this posted around and don't really get what I'm supposed to take away from it that isn't obvious already. We generally beat bad teams and lose a fair number of games to the good teams, because we generally have had a good, but not great, team under Garrett. What does showing that in a graphic button-format tell us that's new here?

What was Wades winning percentage?

34-22 That is a 61% Winning percentage. And that was with being 1-7 his last year. Take away the two PHilly 3rd stringer wins for Garrett and he is at a 53% win percentage.

The same Garrett apologist are the same guys that hated Wade. The Irony of it all.
Wade was handed a playoff team. And a Parcells defense that quit on him.
