If we hit rock bottom again or need a new stadium.

And why I’ve always said barring a collapse Jason is perfect puppet for Jerry.

It won't take a collapse. Last year was nearly enough. If they don't win this year, Jerry's hand will be forced. If not by the fans who pay the bills, than by his son. Stephen is far less attached to people than Jerry is. If it comes down to it, he'll make it his mission to get rid of Garrett, just like he did for Dez Bryant.

We shall see.

Yes, we shall.

Believe me when I say this, I've never wanted to be wrong about something more than Jason Garrett. He's intelligent, a good person, a hard worker, well organized, loyal, and has plenty of other positive attributes. I'd love nothing more than to see the guy win a Super Bowl and shut guys like me up.

It would be great for Jerry to be proven "right" about him and to then see his patience and loyalty rewarded with success. But my own patience has worn out and I'm ready for a change.

With me it’s not about being right or wrong it’s accepting the reality of the situation with Jerry.

I’m beyond the patience stage. Once I gave up my season tickets after 4 decades conceding Jerry no longer had the priority above all else to win I lowered the bar along with him.

It is what it is. We’re no longer a championship caliber franchise so it appears silly to hold anyone else in our organization to those standards.

Yeah Garrett is ok to mediocre in reg season. Post season kills us.

That is because mediocrity in the regular season isn't going to magically translate to greatness in the post season. If the regular season is tough the post season is a veritable killing field. Garrett is the coach you want if you are happy being 8-8 or 9-8. Sneak into the playoffs here and there with a first round exit. Just don't expect more than that because you are not going to get it.

My breakdown of the breakdown

Jets: Cowboys should have beaten them on the opener in 2011. Tony Romo’s 4th qtr goal line fumble and Jesse Holly being out of position on a punt block cost the Cowboys this game.

Ari: Cowboys lost in 2010 because the FG kicker missed an extra point. The Cowboys lost in 2011 because the Cowboys coaches ‘iced’ their on FG kicker on what would’ve been the game winning FG

Lions: 2011 and 2013, two losses I will never get over! 27-6 third quarter lead gone because of Romo interceptions. 2013: 5 or 6 turnovers wasted because Tony Romo couldn’t move the ball that day! Cowboys looking to put the game away—T. Smith get charged w holding meaning the Cowboys can’t run down the clock before they kick the FG. Cowboys make FG going up 6... but Lions cut thru Monte Kiffin’s defense to steal a game they had no business winning

Pats: Cowboys kicked Tom Brady’s *** this day, but Tony Romo went brain dead in the red area, which left the game close enough for the Pats to win in the end. This game is where Jason took the game out of Romo’s hands and ran the ball vs a stacked Pats defense(the side we ran on).

49ers: Great game by Tony Romo in 2011. His fans love the Broncos game from 2013, but this one was better vs a better defense and on the road!

Vikings: Cowboys weren’t good an either victory.

Bengals: Both victories were a bit of a shocker. Shocked they won @ Cincy in 2012. Shocked at how easy they won in 2016

Chargers: Phillip Rivers owns us! Preseason, regular season, scrimmage... he owns us

Seattle: Cowboys matchup well with Seattle. Russell Wilson is yet to play a good game vs the Cowboys defense. Cowboys easily should have won the last two meetings. This past game was the first that their DLine won the battle vs the Cowboys OLine.

AFC North: Cowboys should be 8-0 vs that division. They blew the game @ Baltimore in 2012!

Packers: Cowboys should have beaten them 2013. I’ll never get over that loss!

2011: Cowboys should have won 11 or 12 games and at least played San Fran in championship game at their place. Cowboys blew it that year! Yes, 2011!!!
