Despite their outstanding play and and current win streak the Cowboys are still only given 7-1 odds of winning the Super Bowl. Of course that has come down signicantly from week 1 when the odds were 25-1.

It remains nebulous. The offense is so stacked, it muddies the waters in a good way.

Dak is definitely the fast-tracking future, and Romo is certainly the quickly-fading past. But where that final line of demarcation actually lies is still somewhat of an unknown.

For now, it is clearly Dak's job to lose because 8-1 dictates that. But it can be lost. Dak will develop into a better quarterback three years from now than he is now. Romo is still a top five quarterback if healthy today.

It's an odd juxtaposition and overlap of careers.

Another thing I think that gets ignored is what the article stated in regards to leadership styles. And for this particular team Daks leadership style is best.

Dak is a better leader period than Tony. I don't care what kind of team it is.

LOL whatever you want to think. The truth is that Dak will remain the starter, no Romo. Nothing against Romo. But I believe Dak is just right for this team and doesn't need to be elite.

It's the truth. Fish even tweeted that to me, that Romo was far and away outperforming Dak the entire week leading up to the Pitt game. But the front office still decided to go with dak anyway.

Dak is a long way from being Aaron Rodgers or Steve Young, who had been around a while before those moves were made. Andrew Luck was the first overall pick and was making big money.

And enough with the 2-playoff win QB nonsense. Romo carried those teams to the playoffs by himself.

Tell em Erod. Without Romo we wouldnt have even contended for playoffs most of those years.

Maybe Romo has been performing better in practice. However, I kinda don't trust the media. They will say anything just to gain attention even though it isn't true. Frankly, I think this Dak vs. Romo argument is overblown.
