Brian Baldinger pointing out what should be obvious to all

Maz.....nevermind. yall cook
Mazi isn't bring any inside rush though. If you want a guy to stop the run and bring some interior rush, Benton is your man.

I feel you have had the righ idea/wrong player this whole draft season lol. If it makes you feel better, I have us drafting Mazi in the 2nd

We don't need a DT that has 10+ sacks we need someone that is going to demand dbl teams and clog up the middle. It's not always about sacks.
We got the sack masters on our team A good DT will take on the OL with dbl teams to free up our pass rushers.

Old news, we been screaming for a proper NT since and before the Playoff loss to the LAR. NT will free up everybody.

This is why you don't draft another edge at 26.
Shiny objects are nice you got 3 pair at home.

They badly need to use their limited resources to improve in the interior DL, the interior OL and with another weapon for the QB.
If they come out of thetop 4 rounds with 3 of those things and not needing to reach plus add a great value somewhere it will have been a good draft imho.

I don't think they are drafting a DT this draft, maybe late rounds but I feel they are too focused on offense and the value doesn't bode well after 2 rounds in DTs.

DTs who can hold against the run, push the pocket and get sacks are as rare as an honest politician.

There is a reason everyone says Aaron Donald is going to the HOF.

By the way Kancy is NOT another Aaron Donald.

What we need is a squat very strong guy who has some quickness; clogs up the middle and pushes the center right into the QB. Force him out of the pocket where Parsons and company can feast on his dead body.

They need both TBH.
A decent pass rushing DT might get 10 sacks as a 4-sack talent guy because of all the attention teams pay the outside guys.
You need someone to impact the OL blocking inside.
A space eater is great for sure and MUCH needed on 1st down and short yardage but on 3rd down you need a guy that can win right at the snap and get upfield so teams can't full on cheat to Micah's side withotu getting the QB hit as he gets the ball.
It all works together.
Dallas has a severe lack of NFL caliber interior DL.
It is essentially two guys and 1 of those is DLaw who plays outside as much as inside because his body cant handle every snap interior play.

I would guess Bryan Bresee based on where we are picking.

I've been high on him since he was a freshman at Clemson but something is up to make him go from a top 10 pick to possibly out of the first. Is there some red flag medicals from prior injuries? Or is it due to his play not matching his hype?

I personally think he can be a better pro than college player but something is up with him with the potential fall in the draft even after a good combine

Alright fellas we have plenty of cap space. What if the Cowboys traded the first round picks for an established young offensive stud?

Based on that play and that game Baldinger is talking nonsense.

Cowboys are using Nascar rush on that play and they wreak holy hell, despite the fact Vikes have four on that side to block just two Cowboys. There are maybe eight great bull-rushing DTs in the NFL. Unless they somehow draft Bresee (unlikely) in first round Dallas won't be adding one this offseason.

Kancey could be on the board at 26, but he's not a bull rusher. More a Osa+ type player.
Yep, but I think that that number 8 is too high. The number of guys who bullrush and win consistently is practically 0.

People always clamor for a 330 lb DT who can eat a double team and collapse the pocket consistently. These guys don't exist lol

So does just about every team in the NFL. The kind of guys he's talking about are few and far between. Carter is probably the only 1 in this draft and he's not getting to 26, even with his concerns.

Everyone in the world has been saying this. When a team can triple team Micah, that means the rest of the line is garbage.
1 he’s painting an entire picture with 1 play.

2 pass rushing tackles are hard to find. You’re really just hoping you can find a guy to collapse the pocket

3 Minnesotas offense got shut down the last 2 times we played them.

Exactly.. Good luck finding one of these guys.
