Arm strength is the most overrated aspect of an NFL QB. Romo can sling it as far as he needs to.

Correct. Arm strength in a QB is about the same as "speed" for a RB. It is not quite that simple. There are nuances that people do not think about that are far more important.

How exactly would Raider fans be good judges of talent?

They are like we were during the Campo days. Willing to take what the bad organization fed us as talented.

I agree, but I liken it to people who've been drinking Tott's for so long they start losing the difference between it and Dom.
Hell! It all tastes good to me!

So moving down a round from the 5th to the 6th round is the true compensation assuming he sticks.

Though picking up a street FA is cheaper, seems like a fairly low risk reward.

Unless you'd care to think that the third time is charm for us to give two #1's for Galloway/RW/?

Little unsure how he looked timid in those highlights.

He didn't look timid but he certainly looked like a 7th round WR, if not lower, based off his college vids. Personally, it looks like the only reason he was drafted was his 40 speed - which is the siren song of the Raiders.

I see him as insurance, nothing to get excited about and I wouldn't be surprised to see him cut to avoid giving up the (I assume) conditional pick.

I don't know, it's highlights. He looked impressive because of that.

From my understanding, he was on a team in college that had a logjam at WR. Raiders are saying he can't catch, I don't know how legit that is. But at 6'3 and that 40-time, it's something you can work with.

But again, I'm still wondering who you guys think lines up on the outside? Street? Street has about as much upside as this kid.

Understood, but based on the video - even with that 40 time, he wasn't really a take-the-top-off kind of guy and he's not a make people miss kind of guy. He's got plus traits, but I just feel like what I saw wouldn't make me excited without looking at his combine stats.

From the highlight vid on page one, looks like he can catch almost anything but the first man breathes on him he goes down. Be interested in knowing what mental deficiencies he has that kept him off the field. Hopefully we can have the fastest possession receiver in the league if the coaches can coach him up.

The more I read on him he has been the PS star in 2 preseason's for Oakland, yet he is last on the depth chart. Strange

Maybe he can just be how Andre Holmes was for them that he was during PS here!
