Marinelli just screams Taco Charlton over TJ Watt to me, that guy can piss off and never step his pigeon feet back in Dallas

Taco Charlton over TJ Watt ended up being a huge mistake but our effort was never questioned under Marinelli.

You're only as bad as your DC and HC let you be. If Quinn has a good relationship with him, bring him back. He was the only one with any fire.
And in the end...players tuned him out because they knew he was a moron...and had no clue what he was doing. And you think the players forgot that already? SMH

if Richard does come back, I hope he lets defenders look for the ball. Jourdan Lewis was in his doghouse for making plays on the ball.

I'm not a DB coach, and the technique did seem to work well for Byron Jones, but overall that philosophy becomes "bend don't break", and can get your defense gassed, and eventually get corners beat, especially back shoulder.

I think he could just change his style just a bit, and if a player has ball instincts, turn him loose every now and then!

Everyone hated him his final year with the Cowboys but absence makes the heart grow fonder for some fans. lol Fans couldn’t wait to get rid of Mike Zimmer years ago as the DC but his name kept coming up to replace Nolan if Zimmer was fired in Minnesota. Marinelli was getting persecuted on this board his final seasons with the Cowboys but many started missing him after this season.

I had no issues with Richard, even defended him.

well he’s a coach and your a coach so no surprise there. You have spent many years defending coaches Garrett included.

that’s you’re perogative but I say no to Richard he was less than impressive IMO in his stint here

Richard is fine as a DB's coach, but he wants a HC gig and I doubt he would return to a place he was fired from to accept less.

He wasnt horrible. But I wouldnt bring him back. Plus I'm sure it was tough with 2 DCs on a team, that was a disaster with him and Rod
That defense was bad enough that there was enough criticism for both of them.

We all should be wanting New blood across the defense and a new talent influx with at least one can't miss FA (instead of bargain basement losers).

or Raheem Morris if he doesn't get HC job in Atlanta. Make George Edwards or Sean Lee(if he wants it)LBs coach

A bloke I respect says these reunions never work. Like estranged spouses, when they unite they bring their past resentments and judgments.
No, let it be.
And in pushing Sean Lee an NFL coach, that puts you on the same level of Jerry Jones. That sounds like something Jerry would do!

Everything he taught our DBs was wrong. Our guys quit playing the football. He ruined a promising Awuzie...by getting into his head... teaching him horrible technique

11th ranked pass D last year.

I like marinelli sauce with my spaghetti and meatballs......

That's culturally insulting to Italian-Americans. What's your surname? Maybe we can find a cultural sign mark for you, Chato. Like tripas or chilequilas. Heh.

many ex players coach, NBA full of them. Kellen Moore came in right after playing, Duce Staley is in Philly. what makes you think players can't coach
