Broaddus: A chance they will try to pass Darius Jackson through waivers

Wow, nice reach there.

Have a good career and make the Dallas decision makers look bad? Maybe. (assuming this all actually goes down)

Go on to have a better career than Elliott? Not bloody likely mate, but you get an A for effort on trying to make Jerry look foolish.

Next, Jackson will beat Emmitt's rushing record if kept here.

People think that Jackson won't be claimed is fooling themselves. A rookie RB with speed, decent vision, can catch, can pass block and be a 3rd down back. He just averaged 6 yards per carry against Seattle with the 2nd and 3rd team OL.

Ravens just last their rookie Dixon to an injury. Bet anything you want they pick him up

Dunbar never really did anything until they started using him in the 1st two games of the season. He was effective but got hurt. My opinion is that he'll get hurt again. Besides he's too frail to run between the tackles.

Both Zeke and Morris can catch the ball out from the backfield. So Dunbar really doesn't offer anything else that the other RBs can do.

If this is to keep Dunbar around, that would be foolish. He ll be twisted into another pretzel within 5 games.

He'll play another five years. Oh wait wrong guy. I mean ten years.

Talking about last year with McFadden, he wasn't injured. He produced. But I get it, you want Jackson on the team at any cost.
Out of 8 years he has been healthy 2 seasons......hmm 6 out of 8 years injuried ya history shows that he has 80 percent to be injuried this season and what do you know, Mcfadden is injuried. Keep thinking Mcfadden is some healthy savior

Again, we get it, you want Jackson on the team at any cost.

Actually it's more like I don't want an injuried RB on the team that has never shown he can stay healthy and can't be depended on. Spin it however you like but that's the facts

The team has too many one slot guys like Dunbar, whitehead and Beasly.

McFadden should be gone the moment you invest a #4 and bring in Morris.

Jackson would be a great guy to groom for the long term back up roll after Morris's deal is done.

That could well be the tough, business-like decisions that the FO and staff will be facing in the very near future. Let's hope they get it right, although I can't picture Beasley nor Lucky being on the outside looking in. It surely won't be easy seeing some of the cuts depart, though.

Just because Lucky can run jet sweeps doesn't make him worth a F as a receiver. He's terrible at that. He is no replacement for what Dunbar brings.

I agree I don't see the comparison. I actually believe Dunbar is a better receiver than Whitehead.

This isn't really news. It'd be a bigger deal if he made the roster. Darius was always a longshot.
Too many people seem to think they see something the coaches don't see, when the reverse is actually the case.

Every other team has a thread just like this about some player their team acquired and may not keep. This is not a unique situation.
