If Bowers is going to be cut I'd just rather see them make a trade with Tampa for him. They could use Oline help and that seems to be our strong point. Give them Parnell & a 7th for him

The problem with Bowers is he's a lot like the guys they already have in that he's a better pass rusher moving inside on the nickel instead of the edge rusher they are missing.

Have people really not figured out that what Broaddus says on twitter is generally meaningless?

If he post something in an article it's different, but when he says stuff on twitter it's just quick answer with not specific thought put into it.

"They're going to hammer the waiver wire" is a very generic statement. It gives no insight to what they're really going to do.

It's more like duh, of course Dallas is Exhausting All avenues to upgrade weaknesses, All teams that Want to win do..

Jerry is at least willing to throw some $$$Millionaire$$$ Pocket Change at the problems... (Plural)

I agree that we should be looking at any possible sources that can help this team. It's just unfortunate that it's come to that.

Its honestly no different than what any other team is doing lol. Every team...."dumpster dives". lol Including the great Patriots who everyone strives to be. They even sometime dumpster dive from us.

I think it gives about as much insight as you could ask for with the waiver wire. No idea who's gonna be there, no idea which team with higher priority will steal your claim. At this point, what else could anyone say?

"Hammer the waiver wire" is pretty clear to me. They're going to be looking for just about anyone and everyone and will likely put a number of claims in.

I think they'd be foolish if they did anything other than "hammer the waiver wire". The DL has plenty of room to improve upon and they're pretty much trying any combination possible at LB.

Pretty much any defender with experience or who is cut from a team with a strong DL should get a serious look.

Being that Bowers grew up a Cowboys fan....it seems like its only a matter of time before he comes through Dallas. I honestly don't know what everyone sees in him..I know before his injury in college he was a projected 1st round pick but thus far in the NFL....it just seems like he's just a guy.

And put me in the category of guys who doesn't think Maranelli can turn crap to sugar lol. He did a solid job with Selvie but people have made him out to be this guy who can have a unit full of "just a guy's" and have them contribute at a high level. Its yet to be seen. I don't fault him for that. I'm sure when he came here to coach this defensive line the thought of Ratliff, Hatcher, Ware and Spencer sounded a lot better than this one he has now does.

Lovie essentially claim out and said he can't hold a roster spot or give one away to a player who can't get on the field. Bowers is hurt...which makes you wonder why fans are clamoring for him here.......
