Broaddus: Evaluating Game Tape Of Christine Michael

"I can't really leave this section without raving about Christine Michael: relative to the 2014 class, he's one sigma from the mean in 40 time, bench press, and broad jump, two sigma in shuttle and three cone, and three sigma in vertical and 10-yard split.

What does this mean? Well, Fun Fact To Know And Tell about CM: if you took each one of his test scores down (40 yard time increases, broad jump decreases, etc.) by a whole standard deviation his pSPARQ would be 130 (!!!), good for ninth-best (!!!) in the 2014 class (!!!!!). That is insane. I can't process it. It's impossible. There are not enough exclamation points in the world."

People are so quick to forget that Murray played well behind one of if not the worst offensive line in football his first two years

The discrediting and dismissive campaign against Murray has been going on in full force for months now. I have a feeling that a lot of tunes would be different had Murray resigned with the Cowboys.

Yes the tunes of us haterz when Run DMC runs for 3,000 yards

I've come to really question Broaddus' ability to judge tape. I used to like him a lot, and he's a good listen, but he's wrong way too much for my taste.

Hence, he's not getting paid to scout any longer, and even with that gift for gab, he never got a GM consideration.

You could tell Broaddus and Lacewell were from the old school in scouting. They couldn't get around the preset skillsets to see into a players potential at certain positions. There is a reason why we couldn't draft Dline or LB's ever since ever. With Coakley and Nguyen being the best D players in our front 7 for a long time.

Onto the Michael trade, Michael was in the doghouse for a few reasons I thought I saw on the Hawks board. But, I also remember seeing him return kickoffs too. Keeps Whitehead as the PR only and a ST'er. Michael is coming home and needs to put in the work and listen to JG or the leaders will be calling him out publicly like what Hardy did to Coleman, IMO.

Of course. That's always the case when a star player leaves his old team for new team.
