Why would we trade our expensive veteran backup and leave ourselves exposed meanwhile there is absolutely zero reason for buffalo to do this. They will have Manuel back shortly. Orton would never play.

They can just sign Vince young or some other veteran scrub.

IN short, because he's an expensive veteran backup and the money can be used better elsewhere.

Buffalo was going to start Kolb, who sounds like he may never come back. Even if they start Manuel, that leaves them a qb short. And they may want the veteran.

But it could be another team. The Bills' qb woes have just been in the news lately.

I agree about Moore as well. I wouldn't do it. But if the club likes Pellerin as much as some seem to think they do it's a real possibility. I'm not sure Lissemore holds any value anymore after the absolutely brutal preseason he's had. I've already stated previously my agreement on Rosario.

I think Harris is a strong candidate. They're probably comfortable rolling with Williams as the 3rd WR, Beasley could return punts, and Armstrong will probably be back on the roster in the next couple of weeks. Also, I think Harris would have some trade value as a 3rd WR and punt returner.

I think that due to some injuries, some teams are thin there.

Rosario has shown to be a capable player, but I would rather the blocking and potential upside that I feel Smith brings.

I hear you, but the team didn't give Smith any opportunities with the starters during the preseason, so I doubt they'd just drop Rosario for him. Smith seems like the perfect practice squad candidate...if eligible.

I was replying to the premise the Cowboys couldn't get anything for Harris. I think they certainly could if they wanted to. Probably a 5th/6th round pick.
