Broaddus: "Hearing the club is working the phones right now in an attempt to move a couple of guys"

Scandrick? Only player of worth I can see being traded. Every other guy mentioned so far would net us a 6/7 pick at best.

Agree, good point but it still didn't change things.....still not in the playoffs......If ROMO goes down Cowboys chances go down....not doomed... but in dire straits.....Orton is only good for a game or two at best..... not a playoff run.

No, not a good point. False information--prob not on purpose, but false nevertheless.
He did not win 5 of 6, he won 5 of 10.

Agreed..

I actually think he is probably a top 25 QB.

He hasn't looked very good this preseason though.

Have you forgot just how bad he was in Denver? Tebow took the same team to the playoffs that Orton couldn't win with.

You are making entirely too many false assumptions. Namely, that any injury to Romo is automatically season-ending, which is absurd.

No he didn't. The game Tebow took over, Denver also returned 4 other starters. And I don't think Tebow had much to do with Miami, NYJ, and Chicago basically handing them games. But you're point about Orton is valid. I mean, this is a guy who at one point lost his job to Rex Grossman. Don't really feel too good about him if Romo is hurt.

not necessarily, Orton is capable of winning and has proven it over his career. If Romo went down for a few weeks, Orton is our best chance of surviving such a catastrophe until he came back.

There is a reason that every time Orton became a starter, the following year he wasnt, and he had a different uniform.

We're probably looking for a Ryan Cook patch work kind of trade.

Doubt anyone like Scandrick gets moved.

Probably trying to land interior linemen or somethin in the secondary.

Broaddus just tweeted he thinks they are trying to move a player on offense. The plot thickens.
