jerry would run rough shot over him. he just doesn't have the presence and the balls to stand up to jerry. he is a "oh gosh, golly gee" type of person.

I'd take it. I think that's a step up over McCarthy / Schottenheimer / Zimmer.

Realistically, who else are we going to get? I know we all want Belichick or Brian Flores or some hard-line disciplinarian like that, but those guys are never working underneath Jerry.

Sturm had a good point on this and why most HCs are OCs these days:

If you have a defensive HC, then if the OC/team/offense has a good year, they are gone to become a HC somewhere else so you're resetting your offense every couple years (ideally of course) so its better to have your offense tied to your HC.

I struggle to see Moore as a HC. He seems like a really good guy to have on staff, and seems to do very good work with play design, but he certainly seems to be missing some of the qualities you look for at the top.

He was a QB. Used to leading.

His offense rankings have been #1

His team just won a playoff game.

he's not Big Mike.
