Wasn’t so bad yesterday as well from what I saw in real time, and I was mostly watching the OL instead of the ball.

As I posted elsewhere today, he is one of the best five IMO, and we don’t know if Bebee may be a better guard than center.

Really if there’s one encouraging part of this entire roster it’s the OL. There’s options and versatility.

Can’t say that because there’s some decisions that need to be made on that line between Steele and Zack Martin….
Not necessarily brother. Backups to our backups in Ball (Guard) and Waletzko (Tackle) seem to be improving. Plus, they are younger, hungry to prove themselves and have been with the team for several years now. TJ Bass is proving to be a good starting replacement for Zack Martin at Right Guard. Brock Hoffman is looking like the better starting Center. Move Cooper Beebe to his natural college position at Left Guard where he would likely perform much better. Same thing for Tyler Smith. Move him to his natural college position of Left Tackle. Keep Tyler Guyton as your swing Tackle as you decide whether to keep Terence Steele or not. I would keep Steele since he's shown improvement this later half of this season. The only one ready to go is Zack Martin. Cowboys still have good backup talent with Asim Richards and Earl Bostick Jr. Only issue with them is their current injuries and continued development. Oline should be fine with who we currently have. A late round pick (or undrafted free agent) might be all that might be needed at this point.

POST EDIT:

I will say this, Coach Mike Solari was correct when he said during the offseason and preseason that Brock Hoffman should have been our starting Center! Clearly, Jerry jumped in and forced the move to rookie Cooper Beebe just for the hell of it, especially for a position which Beebe had never played before. Beebe has done well, but Hoffman is better at this point. Just for this observation correctly made by Coach Solari months ago, I say he should be given another year to stick around and keep molding this Oline which we now are seeing gel into a better, stronger and younger group.

I’m a big fan of drafting linemen every year. Not saying in the first or even second round but being strong and having depth in the trenches I don’t think is ever a bad thing.

This team needs to focus on any other area than OL in the 2025 draft.
Bass has looked good at LG and RG.

I might consider this line: Bass/Smith - Smith/Bass - Beebe/Hoffman - Hoffman/Beebe - Guyton

Imagine playing OLinemen at the positions they played and developed at in college

Keep Steele as quality depth for 2025 and opt out after that

Steele’s salary will result in him being cut or starting. He will never be depth. Well not in training camp anyway.

That was a great interview.
The basic key to running the ball we need to put people on their backs he said it over and over that's the mindset I'm undrafted I need to not make mistakes how can Jerry not understand this is a guy who needs to play.
He starts those young guys fresh out of college that aren't ready to play and basically blows our season.
How freaking bad is it when you have the players on the team that can do the job and your owner general manager is just too stupid to let them play.
