Any green belly that wants to step up on this roster is good with me.

I loved watching Overshown develop and completely crushed me when he went down.

O was actually opening up lanes for MP, let's all take a moment and think about that for a bit.

When O was getting real and running free so was MP, they were both feeding off of each other, like piranhas.

We will not see that level of defense the rest of this season for sure, but just saying when MP plays with O this is a defense to be feared.

Considering Beebe is still learning the center position, and Hoffman played mostly at center in college, and also that Beebe was a top guard in college, I'd move Beebe back to his natural position at guard and put Hoffman at center.

But if you don't do that this year, then I'd leave Beebe at center, I'm not a fan of the "jack of all trades and master of none" player. Continuity on the line is huge, shuffling players around isn't good for continuity.

But if Beebe is left at center and Hoffman replaces Martin, don't think that'd be a bad thing, both appear to have the potential to be really good at either position. Both are young as well.

Nice problem to have...
Agreed!Good problem to have.

I feel like the Cowboys have played guys out of position just trying to “make it all fit”. This has been due to veteran status (Zack Martin) or contracts (Steele). I think the best OL moving forward is (left to right) LT-Smith, LG-Bebee, C-Hoffman, RG- Bass, RT-Guyton. I get it, Smith is an All Pro LG. But he’s also your best LT option on the roster to protect your 60 million dollar investment (an argument for another day). Bebee played mostly left guard in college and Hoffman is more of a natural at center. Guyton goes back to RT where he excelled in college. Bass played LT in college but has experience at right and left guard the last two seasons. Martin likely retires, Steele (cap casualty).

Whilst I agree that's the best O-Line combo, I wonder with Dak's injury (and presumably even less mobility), I would think they'll prefer Tyler at Guard.
It's the opposite of the Chiefs who invite up the middle pressure (+ one edge rush) as they've got a QB that can roll out.

Next year Hoffman starts at center and Beebe starts at right guard when Martin retires.
