While I understand the appeal of the attitude era and can justify your reasoning for placing it above the "Ruthless Aggression" era of SD, that era of SD has a much closer place to me personally so I view it much more favorably.

Kudos to you for that moment of introspection and honesty... I can live with how you've phrased your argument here, because everybody is entitled to their own opinion, even if it's wrong... :D

Also Bobby Roode is about 9 days from becoming the longest running TNA World Champion of all time...

Which is roughly akin to being the tallest midget at the circus... LOL...

WWE has signed the daughter of Ric Flair.

The Wrestling Observer reports WWE has signed Ashley Fliehr Johnson to a developmental contract. She is the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair.

Reports surfaced earlier this month that Ashley intended to follow in the footsteps of her legendary father as she was training to become a professional wrestler. She is expected to join WWE's Tampa, Florida based developmental training facility in the summer.

Ashley is the third Flair child to enter the professional wrestling industry. David notably competed for World Championship Wrestling from 1999 to 2001 while Reid currently wrestles on the independent circuit.

Ashley was a star volleyball player in high school, leading her team to two state titles in North Carolina. She graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Arts and is an ACE® Certified Personal Trainer. She also attended Appalachian State University where she was a Division-1 Full Scholarship Athlete in volleyball.

Some would argue the TNA title is more prestigious than the WWE title, and undoubtedly the WHC.. It is always the focal point of TNA programming while the WHC is a joke and the WWE title usually plays second or third fiddle depending on what John Cena and whatever other program WWE is behind is doing. The TNA title has never been given to someone that was undeserving at the time, WHC and WWE title have been tossed around like garbage.

and TNA is far from the circus, it is a top 20 cable TV program weekly.

Not really, its quite a common opinion. Is being a pro bowler more prestigious than winning the heismen since it is on the bigger stage? No.

Common to who?

Oh, yeah. You, your buddies, and the forum you perfer to frequent. Which you then try and pass off as common among the entire wrestling fanbase.

Now let me say this about TNA's world title right now...I love who the champion is. I mean I absolutely love it. He's done a fantastic job and I love that.

But never been given to someone undeserving? Is that a joke?

How many times was Jarrett made champion when he absolutely shouldn't have been? I don't care if he was deserving at one point he had plenty of times whe he simply shouldn't have been champion....yet he was. Again, and again, and again.

How about Jeff Hardy? I can't think of another wrestler less deserving of being asked to carry a company then that pill headed reject. WWE made a mistake in making his ******* a champion and then TNA followed up doing the same despite his continue stupidity.

In fact there was a really long stretch in there when Jarrett was the champion forever and ever when it clearly should have been AJ Styles, or more importantly at that time, Samoa Joe.

So TNA has absolutely dropped the ball on it's champion. WHich isn't unique to TNA or any other wrestling company. That's a common thing in wrestling. They've all made that mistake, and made it more than once.

Some are clueless if they do... I rather doubt there's a wrestler in TNA who wouldn't jump at the chance to move over to the big time...

It's nice to know I can still bait you so easily, fanboy... :D

Current creative plans call for The Undertaker to face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania XXIX.

Meanwhile, the latest issue of Inside Wrestling features Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker on the cover with the headline reading "SNEAK PEAK? The World Clamors for Lesnar-'Taker At WrestleMania 29!"

What a great match that could have been hype wise if they had Brock go on a tare until WM, unfortunately he had to job out to Cena first thing back so meh.

I'd rather see him go out against someone who actually deserves to be in that match the only 2 people i can think of right now that's active are Cena and Kane. Cena would be a crap match cause he's crap and Kane has been done so many times already

I'd enjoy a Lesnar vs. Taker match up at WM. I'm not sure it would be my first choice, by any means, but I'd enjoy it.

I am not talking about the time that the NWA title - I am referring to the time period since TNA crowned their own title.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_TNA_World_Heavyweight_Champions

Lets compare it to the more prestigous of the two WWE titles - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_WWE_Champions

It has changed hands about another ten times.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_World_Heavyweight_Champions_(WWE)

about 12 more transfers.

So not only has the main event scene of each title been watered down more than the TNA scene as a whole but to fairly ***** the WWE main event scene you must combine the two titles for about an extra 40 title transfers. Only ignorant people would argue that the WWE main event scene is more prestigious than the TNA main event scene. In TNA the talents are built up for years before given a shot in a main event role, WWE decides that someone has the look and gives them the title when absolutely no one wants them to get it and then when the push fails they go "not our fault, the talent didnt get over" and they bury them for 3-4 years for absolutely no good reason once more.

I think it's safe to suggest when you get out of school to not send any resumes to WWE. I haven't even been posting long on here but you are so anti WWE I wonder why you even bother commenting with all your facts & figures. Why watch something you so obviously despise? Just to argue? It appears that way to me.

I am far from a TNA fanboy and probably would regard Ring of Honor as my favorite wrestling product in recent months, up until 2 weeks ago when TNA began their new production direction which I have loved. WWE with the exclusion of the excitement from Brocks return has been absolute garbage at the top and the only exciting things are the new talent that are being debuted from FCW.
