When Brock Purdy does set the QB market, what excuses are the Dak critics going to come up with?
That he's taken his team to a SB and multiple NFCCGs and is benefitting from Dallas overpaying an aging, slow, mediocre QB who is still trying to figure out footwork and mechanics after a decade, that's never accomplished any of that to a record setting deal.

That's going to be my excuse.

IF???? He already has!!!!! Talk about upset, how happy can you be with a QB that's making 60+ million with bad legs, deer in the headlights posture, and no playoff success!! Damn you brotherhood!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You are insane, you have no clue what you are posting.

Hater. Go find another team. You are football stupid.

You will trim Dak's toenails with your teeth - - - - and like it.

Before the Dak contract, we were discussing the length of the deal as a big characteristic of how team friendly it was. Dak ended up taking another 4 year deal which ends up completely screwing the team.

If Purdy ends up taking a very team friendly deal that delays the cap hits and give SF a long window, its going to say something negative about Dak. Its one thing to want your $$$. Its another to try to do it in a way that maximizes the damage to your own team. Mahomes took a 10 year deal or something because of this. Dak keeps demanding short deals.
Agreed!

It's nothing to do with $60M, it's about value for money. If Dak could perform without (ONE) of: strong o-line, receiving corp, running game/defense then i'd pay him more......but Dak just needs too much around him to succeed (even 2023 his CAP hit was only $26m) The factors are whether Purdy can produce to the elevated responsibility of the contract. Him taking a (much) larger slice of the CAP% pie will expose him, one way or the other, as to his abilities to perform whilst leading a lesser roster.

It's the Second Contract conundrum, whether the QB can elevate their game proportionately despite losing weapons.
^^^^this is a great post and absolutely nailed....

LOL...you don't need a cap-friendly Purdy deal to say something negative about how Dak handled his contract. It's obvious Dak wanted every dime he could get, regardless of football accomplishments. In other words, Dak's contract was negotiated strictly on the business side, ( leverage, market value ) vs Mahomes priority was football first (although he had way more leverage than Dak ) then business.

Dak fans are so lost.

There’s like 3 of them left here and all of them are emotional unstable about Dak.

They deserve it though.
They are giving him Phantom Points and Wins now, as if he would've scored a bunch of points against the Eagles and wouldn't got rolled over. It was nice when there were two bottom feeders in the NFCE we could roll over and get 4 free wins a season from. It's a lot easier to get to 12 and 13 wins that way

Meh, they have nothing anymore.

They're so hurt that the only reason they watch football (Dak) isn't playing another snap this season and they are emotionally lashing out at everyone for it.

Their QB got offered an out on a bad season and took it. It shows what kind of people support a loser like that they will quit on his team when given the option.
