Anybody think the Cowboys should kick the tires on this guy? Potential backup QB?https://www.sports.cweb.com/football/nfl-broncos-release-qb-jeff-driskel-sign-tight-end.html
Cowboys should keep going in that direction (ala signing Dalton to that role last off season).Anybody think the Cowboys should kick the tires on this guy? Potential backup QB?https://www.sports.cweb.com/football/nfl-broncos-release-qb-jeff-driskel-sign-tight-end.html
ThisGarrett Gilbert...we're fine at QB2

Get a job at Pep Boys if you want to kick tires, freak.
No, I hear the Rodgers is leaving the Packers. I’d much rather have Rodgers as a backup QB.

Garrett Gilbert The guy did OK in one start. He looked better than Dinucci but I think a more seasoned back-up is needed. There should be a competition at the very least. There is a reason why the guy has been with "half" the league at some point in his career.
I agree. Driskel may not be ideal but if you want a competition got to start looking under rocks, unless Dinucci is expected to push Gilbert Grape.I'm for bringing in more competition for the backup QB spot. I just don't think Driskel is it. The Broncos need all the QB help they can get. They cut him. Which is why I pass on Driskel.
