CeeDee wanted a contract that made him the second highest paid receiver in the game, and finally Dak wants to be the highest paid quarterback in the league. None of the big three were going to sign early. I can’t stand this narrative that media is trying to put out there.

I agree but my problem with waiting to sign Parsons is the position he plays is more prone to injuries/wear N tear. Even Stephen Jones once said LBer position has more injuries and than all other football positions. I would hate to make him the highest-paid non-QB two years from now and only one or two healthy years from that contract. This is why I'm in favor of paying him NOW while his body isn't still young without a lot of wear and tear. In other words, I don't want us holding a contract and player similar to Sean Lee last few years.

It does, Denver got a steal at this price. He signed early so its basically a 6 year deal with the actual extension not starting until 2026. Over that time its a 6 year /$121M deal. That's not bad for an elite level CB

Exactly why they need to get him done asap......if you KNOW he's your guy and plan to keep him long-term, why wait? The sooner the better........all these clubs are just being smart.

Just stay away from the no-trade clauses please
