No problem. In my days as an Army Ranger, I fought more than a few guys that were alot tougher that that piece of dog crap. I'm 6'3" and 245 pounds now, and still in great shape. Punks like him are flies on my windshield of life.

GAC just said -- and they bashed Brooking yesterday for complaining -- that they did some research, and according to the Elias Sports Bureau, that TD was only the second time ever that a team has thrown for a TD with a 20 point lead and under two minutes left.

The last time was 1947 when Sammy Baugh did it.

So we can forget the idea that this happens all the time. Most coaches have more respect for their opponents than that.

Edit -- I should've said second time in all that time in the playoffs.

Some one has to explain to me why a 40 year old QB , with 2 minutes left and up by 24 points is still in the game, if not to rub our noses in it.

Sorry, lost some respect for Brett on this one.

I think the one is on Childress who got mad because the media liked the Cowboys. Also because of Ried.

A Eagle fan called in the pat and tim on Sirius and thanked them for calling for the score to be ran up last week. They did not deny doing it but I don't know the details.

I think it's on both of them. Favre probably did audible but don't think that he and Childress didn't discuss this before the game and towards the end when the game got out of hand.

Childress, this guy really thinks he's some good coach. That Childress needs to be thanking Favre everyday for coming out of retirement and better be doing it next because if Favre doesn't come back it will be back to Tavarius Jackson show next season.

Brett never got much respect from me even before this with his drama queen rantings about retiring/unretiring and his prescription drug problem. Karma is a ****** though.

True but it is a game with emotions and Brooking felt the Vikes crossed the line. To an extent I agree with Brooking there was no need to rub our nose it in. Wade had a chance the week before to rub Philly nose in it we choose to take the high road.

How about when Brooking was flapping his arms like a bird at the Falcons when ya'll were beating them. That shows a lot of class............

and he came back later and apologized... but then again... Favre never played for us...

He was also told he wasn't young enough to play this game any more...

Did Favre do that at Green bay? Not sure, but he did leave them hanging at the end of the season for several seasons wondering who would QB the team..

Childress talked about it during his press conference. He said he told the other coaches they would not kick the feild goal but wanted the TD. He was really pissed that the media talked up the Cowboys, as if they had something to do about it. All the Viking players said the Cowboys ran up the score against the Eagles. For that many to say it then it came from the coaches. Childress got his feeling hurt and wanted to get back at the Cowboys.

Losing hair can be a bitter experience for some.... but it won't grow back... and it wasn't Dallas' fault...

Next year I predict he will still be bald...

Funny disagreement from a DMN chat.

[Comment From kschins]
Will Brooking be back or what's his contract look like?

David Moore: Brooking's contract is up, but the Cowboys want him back. Look for him to return. This is a good fit for him and he gives the team an emotional lift, in addition to the fact he can still play.

Bill Nichols: He signed a three-year deal. He'll be back.
