The first time Minn. had the ball they ran for three downs even when it was 3rd and 7 , they ran ,then on fourth down they passed into the endzone

So when they got it again they ran for three and you had to expect them to throw again.

I used to like the Vikings. I like Favre and the Vikings.


But after hearing them talk and talk. Favre running up the score and that Roider Pat talking trash like They were going to whoop Brookings ***.




If You ask me our Defense should of all went over to that sideline and had a word. I would like to see them say something to our Big Boys in their face.


I will wait for the Vikings game with all my passion next year. I officially hate those SOB's.

I agree with Troy Aikman when he said Keith Brooking let his emotions get the best of him.

This team is too talented to even be in position to get the score ran up on them.

And why would the Cowboys use this as a rallying cry for next Season against the Vikings because I am told that "Prior Seasons don't matter".

Whatever!

We didn't do it to the Eagles the past two weeks because we have class. You play the game a certain way and Childress's stupid comments after the game show that he also doesn't know how to win with class.

They will lose this week and I will enjoy it.

Brooking was absolutely right. I only wish more guys would have taken some pride in getting their noses rubbed in it and stood up...

MINNEAPOLIS -- Tempers flared Sunday at the Metrodome after Minnesota’s final touchdown of a 34-3 playoff victory over Dallas. Cowboys linebacker Keith Brooking sprinted toward the Vikings’ sideline, taunting coach Brad Childress and later calling the late score “classless.”

Vikings nose tackle Pat Williams, meanwhile, said Brooking was lucky to escape the Minnesota sideline in one piece.

"We don’t care what Keith Brooking says,” Williams said. “He was about to get his *** whupped on our sideline over there. It don’t matter. Nobody said anything when they blew out the Eagles [the past two weeks]. It’s the playoffs. It ain’t no regular-season game. If you lose, you go home. We take no pity on them. Do they expect us to? I don’t care about no Brooking. He can say whatever he wants to say.”

To recap: Ahead 27-3 late in the fourth quarter, Childress left his starters in the game. The Cowboys gave up the ball on downs at their 37-yard line with 5:26 remaining, and the Vikings threw three passes on their ensuing six-play drive. The final one was an 11-yard touchdown pass to tight end Visanthe Shiancoe on fourth-and-3 with 1:55 remaining.

Cowboys coach Wade Phillips acknowledged that the Vikings ran up the score, but he didn't seem particularly bothered by it. But Brooking was about to take the last score in stride.

"I thought it was classless," he told me. "I thought it was B.S. Granted, we get paid to stop them, but we had zero timeouts left. I didn’t think there was any call for that."

Told of Brooking’s comments, Shiancoe laughed and said: “OK, we apologize. I’m sorry. Better?”

I disagree. He went over to their sideline and said something when he could have gotten whooped with no help.

Too bad he didn't locate these balls the previous 3 quarters when it would have been useful.

So glad his biggest contribution to the game was not his play, but a comment he made.
