Probably just fulfilling the Rooney rule.

Ticking the box on the Rooney rule unless they are entering an 76ers like era of tanking. I mean they aren't far off now, but intentionally would be a bold step.

I am pretty sure they are inteviewing Hue Jackson as well, who is much more qualified, so who knows why they are interviewing Henderson? The Browns are now making a big push into analytics, so for whatever reason, they like Henderson.

Oddly similar to the Todd Bowles situation a while back. Not saying he is going to become Todd Bowles, but people wanted him to leave and he ran one of the best defenses in football.

or Mike Zimmer. It's never the players fault here, its always the coaches. Yet, Bowles, Payton, Zimmer, and the like have success elsewhere. wonder why that is?

There's a subsection of the fan base who will say this about any coach. For the most part, Bowles was respected. Henderson, not so much.

But what if Browns sign him, then Henderson pulls one over on Jerry, to out smart him, and gives a deal on Johnny....instead of a 1st round pick this year, he will take a 2nd this year and a first next year...

I know the got the money ball dude. No idea if he can just make a jump from sports like that. But I would have thought the analytics he uses would be harder to gauge in football. Guess we'll find out.

When he came here people were excited. I guess he was supposed to work miracles. I'm not saying I'm a fan of him but I won't pretend to know whether or not he's capable of coaching a team based solely on what I've seen throughout his tenure here.
