He should have been fired in the locker room after the Skins game

I'm sorry, but if your starting CBs go all year without even sniffing a pick, that is a fireable offense right there

Please take him Cleveland, I will even pitch in a 7

It's probably Buffalos Donnie Henderson, not Jerome.

They have to interview several coaches whether they already know who they are going to hire.
It may be that they have to interview a black coach too, or it looks good, then they hire who they already knew they would.
A lot of coaches get interviews even though they never get hired.

I think it is funny because if one is a good DC or OC it doesnt mean they would be a good HC or leader.
Yet owners keep hiring them, and they keep failing .

Just look at linehan and marinelli, both are decent coordinators, and with the right talent they look real good,
but as HC's they were horrible.

I really never understood the Zimmer hate. I really liked the guy as our DC. If I am not mistaken we had the #1 defense in the league under him one year with absolutely awful talent.

Never got pressure... Bend don't break..

You must be joking, right? Even if you don't actually remember his defenses with the Cowboys, have you not seen what he did with the Bengals and is doing with the Vikings? In fact, there were numerous people in the media who thought Zimmer was too aggressive when he was here.

I was saying on this forum.. He wasn't marked by consistency here. Out of 6 years he was DC here, the defense was ranked in the 20s, 4 out of the six times in points allowed.

I can't argue with that, the results of his defenses here were all over the place, but I can say that had a lot more to do with the talent than Zimmer. I think his production in Cincinnati and Minnesota proves that.

He's definitely proving himself. I just think the mixed results here gave some people a pause.

His teams are playing disciplined football and he's proving himself as time progresses.

He seems like a humble, no-nonsense guy...
